is the gravity hammer broken?
Ive had quite a few games where the hammer just does no damage I thought it was me and I was doing it wrong but today I got hit point blank with one and I took zero damage.
It’s a melee thing in general, I have both been on the giving and receiving end of taking no melee damage from weapons.
My best guess is that in the time it takes for the hit to register, the hit is actually not making contact, even though it looks like it on your screen and on the opponents screen.
My own way to compare is that in EVE, the servers work on a second by second refresh timer, but in games like this, the refresh timer is much MUCH faster, so in the time it takes for the refresh to happen, the hit is registering as not making contact. You feel all of the effects, except the damage portion.
I have no clue if this is what is happening though, it is just my best guess.
In this case I was sent flying a good 20-30 feet it hit for sure but didn’t do any damage at all.

Is there a specific reason you are copying information in several topics and not adding anything? And the ones you do add something to is in all Caps making little sense?

Yeah, sounds about right, everything but the damage was registered. It could just be a bug in the game, or it could be a server refresh issue, like I said, I am only guessing.
I had a guy Spartan Charge me yesterday with the same effect, everything but the damage was registered, just saying, it is out there, and it sucks when you die because of it… More awesome when you survive because of it =P
