so wait…according to the Wiki Halsey is on the infinity when it reaches requiem
the chief, albeit probably in an emotional response, seems to think she could fix Cortana…and honestly if any human could it would be her.
I am very intrigued by the possibilities of her interactions with Cortana (and john…but especially Cortana) in Halo 4, anyone has any guesses? Also… I brought this up before but, does anyone wonder about the Smart AI housed in the infinity? I mean a ship that size got to have one. What if that AI is Cortana’s spiritual successor, like a younger sister of sorts since Halsey is there.
I doubt the Infinity’s AI has any relation to Cortana. Halsey may be on the Infinity, but she is more hostage than guest. Her access is severely restricted.
Still, it will be interesting to see what kind of role Halsey plays.

I thought she was actually released and not a “prisoner” anymore and she was actually working on integrating forerunner tech with the infinity so…why not make more AIs?
even then this AI might clash with Cortana…if indeed there is one

Oh, I’m reading it at this moment. Pretty good book so far. So good, actually, that I changed my gamertag to “Thursday War” :P.
In regards to interaction, Cheif and Cortana are probably gonna be pissed that Halsey is basically being held as a prisoner. Halsey will probably be amazed Cortana has lasted so long, and through her research she will probably learn of the composer.
As far as the AI on Infinity, the one they mention in The Thursday War was a dumb AI. But ONI has Black Box, or BB who has a fragment of himself in the Infinity. He is the one Cortana has to look out for.

I never heard that. On the contrary, I heard that people who we assumed dead would be returning for future Halo games and that includes Halo 4 at this time.

Actually, I don’t think it ever says Halsey is a permanent resident of Infinity. In fact, I remember a quote from Parangosky implying that she’ll be taken off the ship once her purpose is finished.
Somehow iTeKoN, I don’t think Parangosky was betting on the Infinity being dragged into a Forerunner Shield World and for all intents and purposes lost.
I hope the old harpy is dead before the Infinity leaves Requiem.
