Just a random thought here but why doesn’t Halsey have a prosthetic arm? Since her arm was cut off in Halo 4, she’s been limbless ever since. Even Kat had a robotic arm and this was in 2552 (Halo Reach). Forward to 2558 (Halo 5), is there no such thing as robotic arms/Prosthetic limbs? Or is Halsey being denied the right to have 2 arms again?
They probably still exist, but I’d assume Halsey hasn’t received one because:
A) Bad writing
B) Not enough time to prepare one
C) She’s still considered a war criminal by the UNSC
D) She doesn’t want one
E) Bad writing
i would imagine Jul Am Dama(sp?) was too keen on giving her one. add to that Osiris ‘rescued’ her and then right then everything started. Halsey is more a type to do what she needs to do to get what she wants, and in the midst of everything that was happening i dont think that getting a replacement arm was on the top of the list. I can imagine once she returns to the UNSC she may get one though.
Also, Kat was a Spartan and needed one.
I assume she hasn’t had the time to get one.
Maybe a dingo ate her baby…I mean arm.

And, uh, she’s been quite busy ever since she returned to the UNSC. I doubt she had the time for the surgery, let alone recover, let alone adapt to the new limb. Not sure if you know this, but prosthetic arms are extremely painful the first few weeks of having them.

thanks for the correction on the spelling.
and yes, thats why i think that she didn’t really bother with a prosthetic due to the Cortana/Guradian threat. and during that she was with Infinity, and then stranded on Sanghellios. so shes not in any place to potentially even get one if need be. Unless Sanhelli have technology for prosthetic limbs.
I imagine she would flat out refuse it if offered in the first place so she can focus 100% on the threat.
If she’s been so busy ‘working’ for the UNSC, and the fact is that Osiris was ordered to rescue her. Would that still make her a war criminal? She was on board the Infinity without any restraints, and even accompanied Spartan Palmer on Sangheilios.
It wouldn’t take too long to create a prosthetic limb for her, especially if she took her own time to create and modify it. She is an incredibly intelligent individual with a passion for this sort of thing anyhow.
It could be quite true that she doesn’t want a prosthetic; however, two arms are better than one.

I have multiple reasons, not that they all go together:
- Jul 'Mdama didn’t have resouces/time - wasn’t the most important; talking about Kat, she had combat and almost needed another arm
I heard her arm was a REQ weapon in a future update.

I’d say some combination of not having enough time since her ‘rescue’ by team Osiris and the Guardians appearance and not needing one. That doesn’t mean she doesn’t want one or won’t get one, but she clearly is capable of hacking AIs and using Forerunner tech without the second arm, so I can see her thinking it’s a waste of time or something she can wait until there is more time to get done. I sway that way a bit more than just bad writing.
Because Halsey is apparently so evil that she needs to suffer.
It would be an unfair advantage when she plays Halo.
When could she have had the time to be given one? She was rescued from Jul and immediately was apart of Infinity operations and then dropped off at Sanghelios. Not a whole lotta time that.

i would totally imagine that she would when the rehab wouldn’t be an issue.

What i was thinking as well. Things were kind of non-stop since she got back, and it seemed that the UNSC needed her help as much as she was jumping in and offering it. I’d imagine we will see her get some augmentation as the story continues.
