I saw the episode 8 and just want to say one thing: Halsey must not die! Cortana was not enough? ¬¬

Cortana will be found by the Promethean or the infinity or will be revived from a backup that halsey has as mentioned in the campaign.
“It wont be me” Not an exact quote as I need to play through the campaign again. But no way is cortana dead.

343i has something special planned for Halsey, I just know it. This artifact has been the focus for many individuals and she just walked in it. Portal maybe? Already I’m anxious for Ep. 9!

You do know Halsey will be alive for atleast another 50 years it’s not possible for her to die now as we know she’s alive in 2589. Did you even complete Reach??
Halsey might not die. she will probably meet the librarian and then the librarian will insult her for being a mad scientist. then she will feel bad and she will use forerunner space magic to bring cortana back.

They’ve had that prepared for a while. All of a sudden, Halsey is now a sick piece of -Yoink- who cares about no one but herself and created Spartan IIs for a fun little sick experiment. She now has soldiers wanting to kill her

She won’t die, and I doubt Lasky would follow the order.
Personally after watching all the episodes so far and her arrogant nature in Reach, when the order for her removal came through all I said to myself was “f*****g finally”. So far since she’s been a nuisance to Infinity and the cause for a vast majority of incidents, couple that with her distrustful nature of everyone she will always want things her way no matter who gets in her way, even John.
Honestly the “Nothing ventured, nothing gained” attitude she pushes, will get the people around her killed, for her own gain, that in the end won’t be worth anything if the ventured bit wipes out the entirety of existence.
Just my opinion.

Yeah you’re right reach started at 2552 and the Last sequence (Where Halsey thanks the noble Team) takes Place in 2589 which is as far as I know after the Story of Halo 4 and spartan ops…
She is alive in 2589, when she gives a eulogy to B312!

Yeah, but I’m going off his character. I’m not sure he’s the type to follow what everyone says every time. I don’t think he’s the “Yes man” type. Like someone in command that would break the rules and has a more prominent individual thinker side to him.
They won’t kill her off. At least not in the way ONI would like it done. She has a lot more meddling to do before they get a chance to kill her off. Plus she is one of the best characters, because lover her or hate her, she always makes the story exciting.
I disagree, once we have got her back on board Infinity, and we have dragged every forerunner secret out of her head, someone needs to put a bullet in her head.

Nah, I think the chief would go one man army on the UNSC before he ever lets them kill halsey, he considers her like a mother to him. Even if he is not on the infinity anymore Im sure he would find a way to save her, or at least die trying.
