Halsey finds chief?

After this weeks spartan ops I have come up witha theory. I propose that Halsey will eventually find Chief, and make him a new AI. This seems like a plausable course for Sparatn ops.

THEN PLOT TWIST!

I hope Cortana 2 will have clothes this time.

> I hope Cortana 2 will have clothes this time.

Why would you ever wish for that?

Nope well get even more flesh. Got to keep us fanboys invested lol

Doubtful. Spartan Ops is supposed to focus on the Infinity and Spartan Team Majestic (at least, the CG episodes do). Maybe the Chief will appear, but him getting a new AI is questionable. Cortana was more than just a piece of equipment to him. In addition, the process that created Cortana was an illegal (and risky) operation that would doubtfully be repeated.

That is just plain awkward…

And there is a chance we may see Chief in Spartan Ops, and it is possible that they would meet again during Spartan Ops.

Implying ONI wouldn’t do something illegal.

If I remember correctly, the only people who knew about Halsey’s operation were people she trusted. Most of ONI and the UNSC was left in the dark surrounding Cortana’s origins.

And again, there’s the risk surrounding removing brain tissue.

It was secret that time, but if they are willing to experiment on the Flood, live brain cloning and scanning probably isn’t going to be the ethical deadend for ONI.

True enough. Still, I go back to the safety risks for Halsey.

> True enough. Still, I go back to the safety risks for Halsey.

The head of ONI is a decrepit old lady who runs on pure liquid malevolence and the souls of children who hates Halsey’s guts or her heir who was likely exposed to his hatred for years.

Would they really care about Halsey?

Halsey is still useful. Brain surgery (more accurately, removing some of her brain) would put a risk to that usefulness.

Don’t they just scan her brain and clone it? I doubt they have to remove a significant chunk.

They had to open her head and remove tissue. A small amount, granted, but any amount is a risk when it comes to the brain. She did use some sort of technology to transfer her memories and neural patterns into her clone (much like they did with the Spartan clones).

The Chief getting paired with another AI is too big a thing to be put in Spartan Ops. It’s something they’d reserve for the next game. That said, why is everyone clinging to this idea that he’ll get another AI? Cortana was paired with him for a specific mission. She was made for that mission and to be paired with him. He and Naomi are the only Spartans to have been paired with an AI in such a way. He may very well get another AI, but it’s not the certainty people make it out to be.

Don’t want another AI unless its like EDI . I don’t really want another emotional attachment thibgymajiga . If I wanted that I’d go read twilight

It’s hard to say if she is really dead or not. We’ll just have to wait and see.
