So i have a few ideas that i think might improve halowaypoint.
First is a friends list. Our waypoint profile is connected to our microsoft account so i think we should be able see our friends list so if we want to see our friends stats we dont have to try and remember some complicated gamertag.
Next is some kind of notification or email so if someone quotes us so we can reply to them.
Another idea is a personal store where we can sell our req cards to other players. However instead of choosing a price for the cards you would only be able to sell them for what you would get from selling them now. For example, hailstorm would only get you 75 req points.
Finally, maybe some kind of game? I feel like having something to do other than talk an learn about a game would be nice. And maybe be able to earn badges and req points from the game or games. Also maybe an online gambling game where you can bet in req cards or req points.
You have some good ideas, and while this could go on General Discussion, I feel like you might get some more people who have the power to make changes to waypoint if you posted this to the Halo Waypoint Support section of the forums.
Good ideas! I’d get behind these changes.

So much yes to this. I would have the time of my life with this. I have some Nornfangs I don’t want…
Really my main request for this site is an actual off topic forum where we could discuss a wide range of topics and games that aren’t related to halo or xbox. Nearly every game specific community out there does it, but for whatever reason Waypoint does not.
I love to see these changes however these are good ideas and 343i should at least make an attempt to address what they really want.

It’s been discussed in the past but as it stands it’s bad enough moderating the forums as they are and keeping the Off-topic thread from devolving into spam. The forums here are for primarily discussing Halo.

I think this is a good idea, Web Team generally peruse the Waypoint support forum so I’ll move this down there

No to gambling, but some trivia games and puzzles about HALO could be pretty cool. Imagine playing Scavenger Hunt: HALO Edition where the people on these forums had to find symbols hidden throughout this site, once you find and click them (they could be revealed by doing a little reading or responding to a forum post) they would be added to your collection. Whoever got the symbols would win and get… An imaginary high-five from Hamish Beamish [Kappa].

im a nerd and even i found the scavenger hunt thing to be a boring idea. some kind of puzzle game might work though. or perhaps an accurate quiz that can tell you either what specices, rank or faction you should be placed in. i still prefer the gambling idea though. its an easy way to get rid of cards you don’t want and some one else who does want them can have them. but i guess a trading system could also work, but you would have to only be able to trade cards of equal rarity.
