Got XB1S for Xmas. Had gamertag issues and had to create new gamertag to get on XBL that morning. Contacted XBL support and corrected, or so I thought. Watched HaloWC from Mexico yesterday and redeemed a couple of codes from the broadcast. But they got applied to the gamertag I thought was eliminated and that I don’t use at all. Is there any way to transfer the 6 reqs that this tag has to my active gamertag? They haven’t been opened. Thanks.

They only way you can transfer them would be to gift them to your correct account, but you need that account to be SR5 in Halo 5 before you can do that. There isn’t any other way I’m afraid
Ok, thanks. Next dilemna, my Microsoft ID email account is tied to this incorrect tag. How can I tie my correct tag so when I log in to HW in the future and redeem codes, they’ll be applied to the correct gamertag?
Might need to reach out to Xbox Live / MS Support for that - they would be able to properly walk you through changing the email address associated with your account
It is impossible to have an email address linked to two GTs. If you’re signing into the wrong GT, you are using the wrong email.
