So I was visiting Halotracker and noticed they have implemented all kinds of new badges and stats for Halo 4, most noteably the headshot % for the BR, DMR & Sniper. So I gots to thinking to do a little questionaire to all the Waypoint members to post your HS% for each weapon.
And as an added bonus if you have a #green number below the kills (i.e. high in the leaderboards for the weapon in question) post that too.
nice. i think my highest rating for anything is tied for 3rd most xp in the world and tied for number 1 in the U.S. also i think my br would be more around 95 if i hadnt used it almost exclusively in the first couple weeks in infinity slayer.
I hope they update it to include LightRifle stats, its my favorite weapon. HaloTracker has replaced Waypoint as far as stat accessibility goes for me. I don’t need a hard to navigate, forever to load “appsite,” I just want a simple website that’s easy to read and quickly provides me the information I’m looking for.
I find these stats really funny given the amount of flak the DMR gets for its magnetism.
I’m not saying it doesnt have high magnetism but take you BR nostalgia glasses off for a second and notice almost everyone has a higher headshot % with the BR.

You have to go to your settings (the very last tab on the right amongst your stat tabs) and allow the site to download your more intimate stats. Of course paying gets even more intimate, but doesn’t it always?

Indeed. The one constant is that the BR has a higher headshot%. Bloom would appear MUCH more influential than many vocal DMR-dislikers believe.

I doubt bloom has anything to do with it since there is little to none. The DMR spams so fast I doubt everyone is going for a headshot all the time. I don’t doubt it’s harder to get a HS at long range with the DMR, than the BR in mid range and it’s three shot burst, but I don’t think it’s a valid argument against a DMR nerf if that is what a couple of you are suggesting.
