Now, I’ve been playing Halo since 3 came out and have every other game and hold the series near and dear to my heart. I just want to give some opinions and some ideas here.
Halo 4, many people say that it was the FALL of the Halo series as its multiplayer was constantly broken and had a ‘bad’ story, I somewhat disagree. Halo 4 set up much and had a driving story i found myself sitting on the edge of my seat with. The muliplayer, while broken, was very fun! I never found it easy to find a stable game, but that game allowed me to have the split-screen experience many always told me about! My only gripe with Halo 4 is the use of the EU. Now in no way am I against having Halo comics and such, but when it is used to Kill characters and create new threats that no one knows about. That is a problem.
Halo 5, oh boy…here we go…Now, with Halo 5 i feel that the backlash of Halo 4 is what sparked many people to not like this game. Why? I dont really know I guess; maybe it was the story, who knows. I will be honest and say that when I got Halo 5 day one I was so overly excited because I had followed Hunt The Truth for the 2 months it was around. BUT was greatly angered that my time was waisted with stuff that meant nothing to the actual game…now Halo 5’s mulitplayer? HELL YEAH! I adore Firefight Warzone and Swat in this game! The community playlists? Hell yes! This is what Halo 4 needed! All i can say is that when Halo 6 comes out, put this all in day one, dont make us wait, please 343I.

Halo wars 2 is downright amazing! Im not a big RTS fan, but omf blitz is great!
Now its story…this is where my ideas will begin.
With Halo 6 picking up right after HW2 we could see all of Blue team, Red team and Osiris fighting along side each oter to take down ‘The Created’! Oh man! I would kill to see ALL of these Spartans together on one screen! Just imaging 7 Spartan 2’s towering over 4 Spartan 4’s! And the Arbiter fighting with them! Wouldnt it be so cool if we had the Swords, Infinity Spartans(marines etc) taking down the Banished and the Created together! And maybe, for the right price, contracting with Ship Masters legion and colapsing the Banished from the inside out! I have so many ideas on Halo spin offs and story cont. So please let me know if you would like me to post them all! Please leave youre comments and opinions bellow!

I would have diagnosed H4 and H5 completely differently, but that’s okay.

The only thing I’ll throw out there is that you can’t criticize 343 for basing stories off of EU and then say that H6’s story needs to pick up at the end of HW2. Halo Wars is EU in my book. Discuss.

Good point, sorry for bad wording, but thats bot what i meant. Halo Wars 2 is EU, i meant in the way of comics and books. I feel as though HW2 is a main line title, as in it has had and impact on the story.

I would agree that HW2 or any game (like ODST & Reach) that is not a numbered entry needs to be considered a side story - kind of like how Star Wars is moving forward right now, but I agree with OP. I guess I am in the minority but I have been a major Halo fan since OG Halo CE, and I am genuinely interested and excited to see where the series is going from here.

I think the same bro, the campaing was soo much diferent, but Halo 5 campaing was HORRIBLE
