Par times are easy, especially if you run them on easy. It is the 3 hour achievements that can be a pain as those have to be on legendary.
ODST be like: Those enemies? Yeah, you don’t need to worry about them. Par Time: 03:00.

Agreed.
I actually find par time to be the easiest ones. Just find an opening and run, only kill what the level requires.
If you think the speed runs are hard wait till you try par scores. They are tougher. Especially Halo CE.

par scores are not too hard, easy ibfact if you play the game on normal, then add a few difficulty multiplier skulls on.

I only got one or two par times by being dragged along by one of my most impatient friends who runs through every level like he has a time bomb strapped to his back.

well that’s what you need to do in halo 3ODST… he has the right idea
Have a look at some of the speed running videos on YouTube. The videos by guys like Nak3d Eli and ProAceJoker will help a lot with these achievements… Still difficult though.
Just play on Easy and only kill the target(s) that require you to move through the level such as a Scarab encounter in Halo 3. Other then those guys, you can run through everything. If you need to, shoot a few grunts or jackals to lower the amount of plasma flying around.

It was Naked Eli who introduced me to that door on Halo 4’s Shutdown level. I forget what the actually level was like because I always use it.
Yeah. Didn’t find the par times hard. But Eli’s YouTube vids definitely helped me with the under 3 hr achievements.
