Is it possible that the forerunners could have built Halos outside our galaxy ? if the flood ever spread that far. What do you think ?
Maybe that could be a next Halo game plot.

As far as I know, no. Only the Ark was outside the galaxy/firing radius of Halos.
They never did.
I doubt it…
How about what other life is outside the galaxy? Another parasite perhaps?
It’s all been explained. If there is another parasite outside the galaxy, Silentium would have at LEAST been like “Hey, by they way, these guys exist.”
Also, the Forerunners in charge (you can guess who they are) knew exactly what was going on, and therefore had the Halo’s distributed in key locations around the Milky Way, ironically, doing their secret enemy a favor.

Ok i am not a Halo book reader so i don’t know that much of the universe since it is less explained in the games if that makes sense.

aha i thought it was to me since it was not a qoute my misstake.
I’d be more worried about Star Roads being outside of our Galaxy than I would be for Halos. At least Halos don’t require a Galactic Death-ray to be stopped.

Hmm what are the Star Roads if i may ask ?

Precursor structures. Almost like stellar bridges.
The Flood used them as battering rams, pretty much. They can move through slipspace and slice through fleets and Forerunner constructions with ease.

And they can essentially crush planets like Play Dough, and they’re also invulnerable to damage except for um…
The Halos.

Don’t you love it when you’re at war and reach a stalemate in weaponry dominance over the other?
I don’t see Star Roads coming into play. Perhaps, in Halo 6 or beyond.
