I think it would be a good idea to put all the halos on pc ,including halo remake.

Halo 1 and 2 are already on PC, Halo 3 is still available to play on Xbox LIVE, as well with Reach, so there is no need.
Halo Anniversary to celebrating the Anniversary of 10 Years of Halo on Xbox, not PC.
Also, Anniversary’s whole Multiplayer, is Reach’s Multiplayer, which isn’t designed for PC and probably never will be, it won’t be happening.

First off…spam color much?
Secondly, games on PC are the easiest to hack/crack/pirate etc. Making copies of all existing Halo games would be a ridiculously stupid idea on Microsoft’s part. MS is a company that pretty much lives and breathes money. If you can’t make them that money it’s bye bye.
Porting Halo 3 would cost money.
Porting ODST would cost money.
Porting Reach would cost money.
Porting Anniversary would cost money.
Halo 3, ODST and Reach have the same reasons for why it’d never happen and that’s the most obvious one, piracy.
Anniversary on the other hand has an extra reason. Piracy being the main one, but Anniversary’s Multiplayer is on the Reach Engine, to put it on PC they would have to either port Reach to PC which has already been explained why they won’t or make a completely new server and copy/transfer Reach’s Multiplayer to make it more compatible. This probably won’t happen because of once again…piracy.
Anniversary’s extra reason would be because porting it to PC would require completely cutting out the Multiplayer. Leaving you with the campaign alone. Microsoft isn’t dumb, they know that Halo CE’s campaign isn’t worth $40. Meaning they would have to make more content for PC when Halo is pretty much console exclusive or sell it at a much cheaper price. Cheaper and Microsoft aren’t on speaking terms.
Frank O’Connor has already said that their main focus is Console’s and not PC’s and even then Frank doesn’t rule the roost. He might be Creative Director of 343 but at the end of the day 343 is a company belonging to…Microsoft. Nothing passes for release without a green light from the big boys at MS and with them knowing about PC Piracy it is highly unlikely they will put their flagship series on PC only to lose more money than gain. It’s the harsh truth, but it’s the truth regardless…
As far as the whole idea of Halo being ported to the PC, I’m all for it, but like every one has pointed out, low lifes are going to hack, crack, and pirate the game, hell, I do think there might be a good DRM out there, I think the only two games I know of that haven’t been pirated to my knowledge is Dues EX HR and Battle Field 3, Battle Field uses Origin to do every thing, so you need a legal copy.
But also, there has been talk about Xbox LIVE and some of it’s games coming to the PC with Windows 8, so there may still be hope.

But, the PC is a better platform for gaming, but it’s the Mac of the gaming world, very pricey, the Xbox and PS3 are both cheap platforms, but the Xbox is old, the PS3 is still new, but I wouldn’t use a Play Station because of how easily hacked it’s been lately. I’m not a PC elitist, but I’m not going to say I’m a Xbox elitist which some of these forums are chucked full of Xbox elitists, and personally I think all of this damn elitist crap needs to die, as far as I’m concerned, we’re all Halo gamers in the Halo Community, there shouldn’t be a split between the two sides. I don’t know if the Admins and mods agree with this, but splitting the community just because of the platform they use to play Halo is stupid.
Halo CE and Halo 2 are on PC already. The rest are Xbox exclusive but as it has been said time and time again, Windows 8 will likely allow 360 games to be played on your PC, meaning Halo 3, Wars, ODST, Reach, CEA and 4 will all be playable on your computer.

Ok i do admit, Halo 2 if my favorite campaign wise, and i know it will never in a million years happen, but it would be cool to see halo 2 rereleased(campaign only) onto pc again using the Crytech 3 DX11 update graphics engine. =)

Well acutal I have a gaming pc and a xbox360.
There are enough Halo fans that would buy the PC versions of Halo if they were remade for the PC. Halo 2 Vista was a major flop because Microsoft was trying to push Vista, which in my opinion was a bad operating system. If 343 did it right, with the right people (which is totally possible), there are plenty of opportunities. I highly doubt that they would loose money. The core of the engine has already been built. They simply would not receive as much, but that is where a company decides how much it is dedicated towards its fans.
