Why can’t we just be a community together? Not just a mess full of hatred towards one another. So what if your favorite halo game is halo 4? Usually it’s the more “positive” members that are the ones throwing insults around. People with complaints can explain their complaints in detail whereas people that don’t share those complaints want you to shut up and be happy with what you get.

There are many things that 343i have done that I question, but it shouldn’t start a flame war.

I agree, but when you start voicing your complaints, that makes people mad, so they flame you.
Flame wars start due to the treatment of the series. A lot of ppl care for the series, putting out money and time into reading/buying Halo books/games and so on and then there are those that are like so what except it… the game has changed. Some do this on very valid and well thought out complaints.

The moderators and other senior members who’ve been here for years, and saw the release of the other games, swear it’s always been like this… that seems hard to believe to me, but I guess I’ll take their word for it. It seems to me like this community wouldn’t have lasted this long if it was always this toxic, but wutev.

There’s always an in-flow and out-flow of forum users. I can think of a few specific people who actually contributed something of worth yet have unfortunately stopped posting long ago.
Then there’s tons of recruit-irons rehashing the same flawed arguments we’ve already refuted hundreds of times.

Because it works for the shooters that have it. It doesn’t work for Halo. Please, keep your ignorance out of any sprint discussions.

It is split up and has been since halo reach but until we get changes to old problems and new ones created by 343, the community will be spilt.
Also sprint is not a “minor addition” it literally changes everything gameplay wise.
Community is always arguing over something… H3 ,it was over equipment and how they broke the game and now it’s still sprint, because apparently one mechanic makes or breaks a game… hahaha

Bigger than Dual wielding? For me that completely changed the way the felt. Dont get me wrong i grew to love H2 and 3 but it was a big change.
Any type of community is split. It’s impossible to have the same thoughts, opinions, etc as everyone else in any community, Halo is no different. There was been a split in the community since Halo CE days. Nothing new. The split has grown larger as each new Halo game is released.
