I made 3/4 of a map… have to say i was pretty chuffed with it, it looked really good and was well layed out, one of the best maps ive ever made i think and then… kicks me out of forge and lost connection to server… bit annoying but its okay i had saved it just few minutes before… but no it spawns me staring outside of the map unable to do anything except go on the start screen and use options on that… so i had to delete it and it does this with every time i go on forge, so i thought okay… ill go on matchmaking, got a few games, half way to 93 and started playing swat and it kicked me out of the game… so went to join another and thought must have been a one off… got kicked out of that… so i restarted my console and halo and joined another but no kicked me mid game of that aswell and now im banned for a bit for “quitting” too many games… whys halo all of a sudden become unplayable?

that made me laugh.
All seriousness, how does your internet run. I am not saying that it is the problem, could be a mixture of the two and your xbox having a hard time connecting to Xbox servers

Im not sure but i never have problems usually or with any other game… just all of a sudden since the last update Halos decided not to work…
I can count on 0 fingers the number of times I’ve quit three games in a row.

ive never quit from a game… if i end up alone against a team of 4, ill take em on, ill fail miserably but ill put up a fight and never back down! But the fact it bans you from getting kicked out by the game is stupid!

Sounds like your internet is not stable. H5 is very sensitive to your internet connection. If its not consistent . you will probably have problems. I travel for work/. I have a wifi hotspot I can use. But it does not keep a consistent connection it might move from 3mps to 15 and back to 3. H5 is completely unplayable with that wifi hotspot. So I only play H5 on weekends. Other MP games are playable , COD, TitanFall. Etc. But H5 is definitely not.

There’s no tool to discern a quit in the game from a quit through disconnection. And there’s no point in developing that distinction because it would simply lead players to disconnect their connection to circumvent the system. As the result is the same to the players in your game, it really doesn’t make a difference.
Quit bans because of disconnections give folks an opportunity to figure out their network problems.

That is a very true point… just wondering if there was any way to tell if its a problem with connection or it being on there side but if the connection suddenly goes then… i guess theres no way to tell…
This is the drawback of full Dedicated Server vs Peer-To-Peer; the server is ‘Host Player’ so on a lower-end connection (or a WiFi connection that hates its life), the game can get stupid.
I’ve been there. I’ve been ‘banned for quitting’ for getting successively lagged out of games. It’s dumb, and I hate the whole concept of the Banhammer for Quitting thing just on principle, but… it’s how it is.

WE ARE FACE CLAN
I know you said you could play other games, but it still sounds like an individual problem. Check your internet/router settings and try to tweak things there. I have no other ideas after that
You could check your router settings but who is your ISP?
How is your connection? If possible maybe move closer to your router or wire your network.

With this one that you are talking about, make a respawn point on the map, not an initial point because the other spawn can be used as starting spawns in forge. That way you will spawn for sure on the map. I have started to do this because it happen to me too and this is the best way to fix it
Whoa whoa, just calm down and we’ll sort this out
