Halo's AI are becoming too easy to take down

When I played halo 4 on legendary difficulty, it seemed as if a certain component that the AI in the last halo games had was wiped out completely from the game all together. If any of you know what I am talking about. In the last halo games (halos 1-3) the AI seemed be more accurate, more aggressive, and much more tactical when you went to face them in combat. In Halo 4, it seemed as if 343 removed the aggressiveness and tactical components, and a little bit of the accuracy components. Though they replaced this with a larger number of AI that you would have to take out. This unfortunately makes the gameplay much more linear and doesn’t offer any sort of strategy to the game. I just hope that in halo 5, 343 can include some components that past halos have had, and introduce maybe some brand new AI components that can revolutionize halo gameplay in a brand new manner.

Basically, they’re making AI more realistic in their tactics and abilities. This obviously makes it harder to program a harder game, because there are limitations. In Halo 1, there are so many things the AI do that are utter bull**** just to give the game some artificial difficulty. The real question is, are the engineers/programmers at 343 good enough to create great AI that are difficult with no nonsense. At this moment in time, we are seeing more and more “Smart” AI in games that learn and react, not just follow a predetermined set of rules to make the players life hard. Halo is pretty linear so this is pretty difficult, but if we saw enemies actually working together to try and kill you, I would enjoy that greatly. I suppose time will tell though.
