Today, something special is happening to a franchise that brought us all together. Halo turns 15. And 343i are doing quite an event to celebrate it.

Regarding the playlist on this event.

> Ok well I hate to dampen everyone’s excitement but with a lack of actual details earlier I know a lot of folks have gotten excited and made their own conclusions. I’m covering this a bit more tomorrow in the weekly update but the anniversary playlist is a collection of really sweet Forge-made Halo: CE maps in Halo 5. It’ll have Halo 1 pistol weapon starts but gameplay-wise it’s Halo 5. I know there are a lot of folks who definitely want a ‘classic’ gameplay experience (i.e. stripped down minus new stuff like sprinting, clamber, etc…) but I’m not sure if any such plans are in the works (or if it’s technically even possible). I’ll definitely bring it up at our next multiplayer meeting next week but for now wanted to at least give you proper context and expectations for next week.

15 years old, huh.
We are at the stage where we want to get the hell out of our house but can’t because we don’t have cars and High school sucks and maybe we are getting sucked into the terrifying world of dating and everyone else has a smartphone but your parents just make you stick with the flip phone and any parties you show up to is just people acting more drunk than they are( You only had one beer Eddy I know you’re faking it) and Sophmore year is just dragging -Yoink- and I swear to god Mrs. Mussuto if you give me one more -Yoink- PACKET I SWEAR TO CHRIST I WILL…

… sorry, I might have been projecting a little bit there.

I can almost promise it will be in a REQ pack and openable from Waypoint lol. That’s just how these freebies work like the one given out on Halo 5’s one year anniversary.

Well there is also more ways to take part. Socialising here(and in the other relevant thread in the OP) is one way. This aint purely a Xbox One event. :smiley:

Really looking forward this next week, will definitely be booting up Halo 5 and getting in some matches. Hopefully the community update later today will detail out some of the cool things that are planned :slight_smile:

Turn on the birthday candle and pop some Grunts. Or even better 343i does it for us and it could be a birthday party HALO style in warzone.

Yeah, I know. I was mostly just disappointed because I want to play against some 343 employees.

Oh, and can I get the birthday cake emblem I was expecting on Oct. 27th for for this event?
