So as many of you know this year will mark the special occasion that Halo CE launched 15 years ago and throughout those 15 years Halo has had its fair share of low points as well as highs, despite this Halo has survived thanks to the dedication of the community and the developers of both Bungie and 343.
With E3 round the corner and the launch of Halo Wars 2 I began to wonder if 343 were going to do anything to make this a special occasion, my guess is that Halo Wars 2 will be our 15th anniversary game but I also wonder if Halo 5 will receive some type of Free DLC as well. I would like to assume that we might get a special remake map from Halo CE or classic weapon Reqs from the original trilogy but I’m not really sure what they could do or if 343 would be willing to even bother.
Basically I just want to hear your thoughts on if you think 343 will bother to do anything for Halos 15th Anniversary and if so if you think it would benefit 5 in any way, normally developers try to hype up an anniversary of a game because its a milestone and a testament to both the entire franchise and the community itself the fact that 343 haven’t mentioned anything yet is a bit unusual.
At the moment Halo is at large considered to be going through a very dark period where negativity thrives, I think celebrating the 15th Anniversary across the community and 343 might lighten the mood when the time comes and remind everyone why we are all apart of this community and more importantly why we have still stuck around after all this time.
Well, I hope they do something. I’d love another Halo Fest.

Lol that would be hilarious. And yeah I mean halo 3 still looks pretty nice to be honest. Itd be cool if they just added every Halo 3 weapon and vehicle to Halo 5 instead

I started with Reach so I have no idea what the Bungie days were truly like but I imaging those who started with CE have been and seen a lot of over the 15 years, would be nice if everybody benefited especially them.

In term of looks I would like to see the cutscenes re done by Blur but to be honest the visuals are still very good, especially when compared to modern games. If they added anything into 5 I would probably want the Brute Chopper, it would be a new vehicle that would also tie into to Halo Wars 2.

I might have to check some of the CE maps out a bit more, didn’t really get a chance to play them with the MCCs “Issues”

Dont hold me to that number because it came out when I was in high school and haven’t played it on the reg since college. I played it a few times in MCC re-realized how bad the spawn points are and haven’t played since.
