I’ve been planning some new things to expand my blog.
• I’ve launched a HFFL gaming group just this week. If you might be interested in joining a gaming group for fun Halo gaming, check it out.
• There will be a HFFL forum shortly to post in. This forum will cover all Halo topics, from the games, to novels, toys, pro-gaming, etc.
• I’m starting a Podcast this Sunday called the “Spirit of Fire Podcast”. For those who know and those who don’t, the Spirit of Fire was the massive UNSC ship in the game “Halo Wars.” The link below shows the emblem for the ship and the logo for the podcast. The basic format will be the first half of the show as a Halo week in review as well as upcoming Halo events. The second half will discuss any hot topics that may come about and our current (I’ll have two co-hosts) views on Halo 4.
• I’ll have a “Ricochet” League (the new gametype in Halo 4) set up shortly. It’s called the “Halo Ricochet League.” This will be a FREE-To-Join league. I’m currently writing the rules/regulations for the league and playtesting the league settings and Ricochet maps. I need playtestors and constructive criticism, so come on out and join me. Send an invite request to my GT= HaloFanForLife1 and I’ll get you in to try out the map and settings. All I ask is that you stick around a little afterwards to give me your feedback on the map, settings, etc. Below is the logo for the league:
• Finally I will soon start a web series based off of Fireteams Majestic and Crimson from Halo 4’s Spartan ops. This will utilize the theater mode from Halo 4. This has been in development for a few months. Filming for this will finally begin in October with the hopes of having the first show ready by the start of November.
I’m doing all of this expansion for a few reasons. It’s the blog’s 2nd anniversary in September. I want to offer more to the Halo community. So by having all of these extensions of HFFL, there is something for just about every Halo fan out there.
Every Friday from 8-10pm EST is the HFFL’s community playdate as well, so come on out and game with me and other fellow Halo Fans!.
