Halo5 is filled with much destructive conflict!?!

Attention all gamers!!! stop conflicting and fighting for power with each other and learn to enjoy the game together.

As in an unstable family’s household the Halo family (community) is suffering from what I call “Destructive Conflict”; this will ultimately destroy the game.
On one side you have halo fans from the early CE/halo2 era that believes halo5 should be a game built from the foundation of original halo. On the other hand, we have a newer generation of halo fans that may feel halo5 needed to evolve away from their predecessors. People claim that 343i listens to their fans, this is also destructive; the fan base is split and 343 never seem to satisfy both sides when improving the game, Yes, 343 may listen but when they apply what they listened to, some fans may be disappointed. the solution to this is to ultimately satisfy the entire fanbase without destroying the main interest of a particular fan group. 343, you lowered the jump height, applied sprint, ban hammer, broke the gold triangle, while making some of your fans happy this has angered many of your classic fans. what you have done here is showed favoritism in your family and your elder child (old halo supporters) feel neglected by this. 343, every single change you make to halo5 seems to be in favor for the newer generation fans. Why have the older halo fans been forgotten? Didn’t you know this would cause chaos? Old vs new, players are having destructive conflict instead of enjoying the game. http://www.focusonthefamily.com/lifechallenges/relationship-challenges/conflict-resolution/destructive-conflict-recognize-it-stop-it

Yes, the Halo community is going through a civil war over how 343 changed the series. All we can hope for is that they implement an oldschool playlist in the next Halo to appease the salty veterans. Like, a back-to-how-the-original-Halo-used-to-play gametype, or something of that nature.

You do realize using rhetoric like salty veteran is part of the problem, right?

Or maybe there’s just a side that really enjoyed the old Halo games while also enjoying the new Halo games. And maybe, just maybe, this is the unspoken majority.

Perhaps. Ain’t nothing wrong with being a salty veteran though.

Okay Father Hubley why don’t you go back to preaching world peace. The community is split because of production choices, bad business practises, and heavy bias on both sides. However those criticising the game have far more reason to criticise then the oppsing side has to defend. No hate is blind, if 343 actually gets their fingers out their -Yoinks!- and stops screwing up every halo they make in some ridicules form (delaying content, reducing armour customisation, removing features, broken launches) then people won’t complain as much. You want halo to be better? Then complain. Just saying “well they did a good job here” does nothing to fix the other problems. just saying “stop fighting” isn’t going to change bad business practises.

And whats worse is that people keep reposting old threads of “End of Halo” or “Why Halo 5 sucks” and retitling them to make it go under the radar of the admins.
