Halo5: Campaign-Underwhelming Multiplayer-Average

I was very disappointed with Halo 5 campaign. I do like how you can revive people, really helps in the Legendary mode. But 343’s marketing tactic for this game was very deceptive I can’t help but to be offended. They made the campaign seem like it was going to be an epic struggle between Locke and Chief. We got ONE fight scene with a really crappy excuse for it. Then after that one fight, they ally themselves. The was the big thing I had a problem with the campaign. The second thing was Warden Eternal being recycled as a boss. This guy is a huge pain on Legendary, solo. And you have to fight him six times throughout the game. Really kills replay-ability value. I did enjoy most of the missions though, the environments were pretty cool and good looking. Best looking Halo game since Halo Reach. Halo 4, I thought, looked to smooth and fake. Ground-pound is also super fun even though doing that on Legendary is pretty futile unless you are right on target.
In terms of multiplayer, I like Warzone the best and I like the skill-based matchmaking. Reminds me of Halo 3 which I had a lot of fun with. Warzone reminds me of Invasion, a lot. But Invasion still takes the cake for me. Though, I am a huge fan of Elites so that could be influencing my opinion. I have no real problems with the req system but I don’t like how the armor has to be unlocked through the packs. Unless there is a way to complete a prerequisite and then obtain the armor, I think ALL the armor has to be from the packs. Although I do not like the fact that there are so few game modes to play in Arena. I miss BTB, Action Sack, Team Doubles, Multi-team, etc. And where is firefight?! One of the reasons Halo:Reach is my favorite Halo is because it had so many things to do! Halo 5 is lacking in things to do. And the two maps I have a real problem with in Arena are Truth and Regret. After I die once in the map, I spawn, and I almost immediately get shot from ether the right or the left. It is aggravating to say the least. I also run into a problem that I ran into in the Battlefront Beta. After a couple matches, I get bored and quit. I used to play Halo CE-Halo:Reach for hours on end just having fun by myself or with friends. Whether it be playing multiplayer, campaign, firefight, or forge/custom games. Hell, I even had a bit of fun with Halo 4 multiplayer. The final problem I have with the game in general is the lack of split-screen. Halo has always been fun in split-screen and one of the reasons Halo is, or was, such a friend and family builder/bonder.
