Halo4 MP Games Don't Get to 50 Kills

I have yet to see a game get to 50 kills before time runs out. Anyone seen a vid where a team reaches 50 kills?

Uh, if that’s not data collection which signifies the weapons KILL TOO SLOWLY I don’t know what is.

Please wake up 343. PLease buff all weapons. Only way to balance all the AAs and Perks.

You do remember this is the E3 build, they still have a lot of tweaking to do.

@OP:
Or maybe the players who tested the Halo 4 Beta were new to the game and as such couldn’t exploit the spawning as easily as Reach to get kills quicker?

There are a lot more factors than just weapon killtimes - And judging by the gameplay that I’ve seen, the killtimes in Halo 4 are significantly faster than Halo: Reach killtimes, so all that I can say right now is that your post is opinionated and doesn’t have crap to back up your silly claims.

have you noticed that the games go above 50 kills? 343i probably just raised the score limit a bit so that the people that waited over 6 hours in line at E3 could have games that lasted a bit longer.

Sorry guys, I’m just incredibly concerned about the MP. The kill times should be faster than Halo3 or on par with halo2 with all the extra stuff going on.

Watch the MLG games, they always reach the kill limit from what I’ve seen.

A lot of Halo 2’a short kill times can be credited to the insane amounts of auto-aim and bullet magnetism and exploits of glitches like the BXR. Not exactly things I think should be in Halo 4.

Seriously, whats the point of having H3+Reach kill times and slowing down the game when 343 has stated they want H4 to be “The fastest Halo game yet” and we have had 5+ years of slower-paced Halo games? What benefits do Reach kill times have over H2 kill times in an Arena-style shooter? Halo needs to go back to its roots and thats having great core mechanics, medium kill times like H1+H2, and a Gameplay>All type mentality.

Things like 6SK pistols with 8 bullet mags, and 5SK BR’s need to be changed to fit the “faster-pace” of H4.

Are you sure you haven’t been watching infinity slayer? That’s based on points and not necessarily kills.

/facepalm

A 4SK Hitscan BR is a 4SK Hitscan BR no matter if you’re using an aimbot or have the worst aim in the world. True H2 had lots of Bullet mag, but it also had responsive movements and a fast-paced style of gameplay that was addictive and competitive that should of carried over into H3 but didnt due to the nerfed Sandbox and movements. H4 should be going for a H2 type of pace and kill-times if its trying to be fast-paced and different from what we have played for the past 5+ years with H3+Reach.

If you have watched the vids then you know that persons playing the game were terrible. No wonder they didn’t get lots of kills…

That still doesn’t cover the bullet magnetism issues. Compared to Halo: CE, a shot you would otherwise miss in CE would be a hit in Halo 2. I won’t deny Halo 2 was fast and fun, but it still had it’s issues and I’d rather not see them move into Halo 2.

I just don’t see the skill in features that guarantee hits with little effort.
