Ok so I’m just getting back into mcc after taking a long time off…
Anyhow let me know if this is a common issue that is well known (and hopefully has a simple fix) but in the customization section everything works great except halo 4 character customization. It shows up as my odst character and can not be changed. Has anyone else experienced this issue?
Any known fixes?
I mean it is halo 4 so it’s a bit hard to care but I would love to know if there is a fix on the horizon.
I have that glitch too. I go to halo 4 section and just go to skins and back out to the armor section. It makes the player model show. It still glitches every time I go back into customizations.

Hey thanks for the hot fix it sucks to have to do it every time but at least it is something that works until the glitch is addressed.

Happens for me too and this is what I do as well.

I’ve personally not experienced this, but I overheard someone in a party saying it.
The first thing I’d suggest is a hard reboot of your xbox, while your console is on, press and hold the power button for around 15 seconds, or until you’ve heard 2 beeps and it’s off.
Then press and hold the power button for about 20 seconds to turn it back on.
This should hopefully fix the problem for you.
I have the same problem too and it is soooo annoying, I really hope it gets fixed soon
I went through the options and noticed that both the Male and Female options for Preferred Gender were unchecked, idk if by default it deselects both, but after that it fixed the issue.
I also have this glitch it annoys me so much
I had that too, I wanted to changed my spartan armor, but only get a face full of halo 3 odst models.
Hey folks, make sure that you have a body type / gender selected for Halo. Go into halo 4 customization and select a body type, then back out. After that your preview for Halo 4 should work as normal

Thanks everyone who has posted I appreciate all the attempted fixes unfortunately nothing seems to work long term. The only thing that works for me sorry term is what was talked about above. Hope this is eventually addressed but love what 343 is doing with the MCC so I’m not complaining too loudly back here.
