As we all know the jist of the Trilogy, i was just watching the RTX 2012 Panel and during the questions session someone asked about the Ghosts of Onix and if that and other things will make their way into the story.
Basically Frankie said not in Halo 4 but they will all come together in the story. So obviously that means Dr. Halsey will be in Halo 5 or 6 at least it would seem so since she was in Ghosts of Onix. Maybe the Master Chief will figure out how to move between the shield worlds or something like that.
Frankie also says “IF” Cortana enters rampancy and that they will explore that. What do you think the chances are that Dr. Halsey shows up to save her somehow somewhere in the trilogy, either with some Forerunner Technology or some other means. While GS343 is crazy he lasted a lot longer than 7 years.
I would imagine until the end of Halo 4 it would be impossible to speculate or figure out how the other Spartans will fit into the story. I admit I stopped reading the books after The Ghosts of Onyx so I am way behind on the new stuff but Frankie did say they will be a big part of the storyline.
The recent books, Glasslands, the Forerunner Saga and the upcoming Thursday War will all have connections to Halo 4 and the rest of the trilogy. Glasslands and Thursday War fill in the gaps between Halo 3 and 4, while The Forerunner Saga details the nature of the Forerunners and Precursors.
Halsey and the other S-2s were freed from the Onyx dyson sphere in Glasslands, and Halsey was arrested by ONI for humanitarian crimes due to her practices of the Spartan-II project and put to work somewhere by them.
Apparently Halsey is in Halo 4.
There’s a picture of the script for the game in a video IGN released. It shows Lasky shouting “Halsey!”
I’m really happy to see both Halsey and Chief in a game together.
Also, Halsey would be a pretty valuable asset on the Infinity with her knowledge of Forerunner artifacts and such.

Maybe she goes following the MC and he is yelling at her to stop. Whatever this seems like it will be awesome with all these characters mixing it up.

Why would it be anything but Halo 4? I highly doubt they’ve even started working on H5 yet, let alone gotten scripts written, let alone have film of them holding the script for it…in a video about Halo 4.
I’m wondering what role Halsey will have in Halo 4. After Halo: Glasslands, Halsey was detailed in the Ivanoff Station orbitining a Halo installation, apparently for some of her activities in the Spartan II program. They must have realized that she was a valuable asset for the UNSC Infinity. Anyway, it’s going to be hell of a reunion for the Chief to meet Halsey.
