#Halo3PlayWeek
If you really want Halo 6 to be better than Halo 5 and potentially save the Halo franchise, then this is the most important thread you’ll read.
Is anyone else fed-up with how shoddy the Halo franchise is being treated since the announcement of Halo 5?
- Simple, classic, staple features missing at launch?
- Full armour customization, emblem colours
- A complete range of gamemodes and matchmaking playlists
- Unlocks that you set yourself a target and then worked for, feeling the accomplishment earned when they were yours.
- Not having a plethora of bugs and glitches in nearly every aspect of the game that desperately need a patch
- A difference between Social and Ranked playlists, seperate K/D ratings and not just Social not having a ranking algorithm
All getting replaced with more modern trends in games that do nothing to benefit the players and only help the games stat figures for big business;
- Content RNG Packs
- Microtransactions
- Monthly DLC Plans of content that SHOULD’VE been in the game day-one
- An E-Sports or nothing attitude.
How about we actually hit 343i where it hurts to get the message across? Where? In the population numbers.
How? It’s simple, from the 19th of September all through the week until the 25th, we abandon Halo 5, get back on our Xbox 360’s, pop in our Halo 3 or ODST multiplayer discs, and drive that games matchmaking and custom games population up one last time, 9 years after it first launched to show 343i that a game that was built back then will last longer than anything they currently plan on putting out. A game that knew it had to have a launch featuring the two lists mentioned above, a game that with just 4 paid DLC’s and 1 free, lasted longer than either Halo 4 AND 5 combined,
If 343i sees we care that much that we’re willing to play what was good nearly a decade ago and still works to the same standard it did then, not the MCC, they’ll see how much the Halo’s old meant to us and how serious we are with our doubts in their ability to handle the franchise the way they currently are.
