Ok 343 if u see this please do not ignore it and just hear me out please. Yes i got perm banned from halo3 and yes i did cheat but i honestly was just going through some stupid stage where i cared so much about a number next to my gamertag. After i was banned i realized that wow i dont care about the rank i just love 2 play the game. i played halo3 everyday, call me a no life or whatever but i know what i did was wrong and i am just asking you to please please just give it a thought to unban my account “Riisk iz Rippin”. Also isnt the point of banning a person to eliminate cheating and boosting well if it is then the ban was successful on me because i will never ever cheat again like i really am telling the truth. I know that u over at 343 dont know if i could be lying or telling the truth but please just believe me that from the bottom of my heart i will never cheat again. i know it seems like im obssesing over a video game but the game just brings so much joy to me and i have so much fun playing it. if anyone does read this then “thank you” and to 343 if u do see this and dont unban me then im not goinig to be like “wow i hate 343” because i know i have every right to be banned but again please just think about unbaning me. To the best of my knowledge, permabans are the last ‘resort’. I would be very surprised if you were unbanned, ever. You knew what you were doing and you chose to ignore the rules.
343i don’t manage Halo 3 like they do Halo: Reach, the ban hammer acts are completely automatic, even if they did monitor Halo 3, they wouldn’t unban you, you broke rules like you said.
You got banned because you cheated. In other words, you tampered with the games software which can be considered illegal depending upon the situation. You got what was coming when you knew about what was wrong and right. This is your punishment for doing so. No amount of begging will get you out of the ban. This is what you brought upon yourself. Try to strive to avoid cheating in the near future would be your best bet.

Cheating at a video game is comical. I would understand if they gave out cash or a prize of some value. But, getting a 50 by means of cheating makes no sense. You didn’t get it, no one besides you cares that you got it, and it should honestly lower your self esteem as a person for doing so. Go to hell you should be lifelong permabanned from halo.
YOU and nobody else took the risk and you knew that you could pay for it… It is YOUR fault and 343i don’t have time to review something that you said yourself was/is true.

OK, hopefully nobody jumps on me for this, cuz i abhor cheating and would certainly not do so in a video game — seriously, this is just an escape, and agreat one, but that’s like ‘cheating’ by reading the first and last page of a hundred books just so you could say you read 100 books. What the heck is the point? The book is for your enjorment — enjoy it or dont, but don’t pretend youdid something for ‘bragging rights’. Having said that, I have SOME sympathy depending on how young you were. Especially since, lets face it, gamers have made ‘cheat’ a neutral word — we say we want fairplay and then we buy books or check out webpages full of ‘cheats’ for our favorite games. I know, I know, there is cheating and there is cheating…
Personally, I think an appropriate action for someone with a permamban would be instead to ban for a year or so and then lift the ban on condition that the gamer gets no more gaming points for five years (long enough to grow up) , and perhaps limit playing time to something like two or three hours a week… Kind of a mark of cain which lasts forever rather than punishing a 23 year old for something dumb he did when he was 17… I dunno, just my thoughts…
Maybe even just let the cheaters play against each other with no points or STATS at stake…

i got ban for ever and i legit did nothing wrong my disc doesnt work that well so i think they think im boosting when im not at all can some one help me

Actions have consequences. Deal with it.
My Xbox got perm banned because i matched up with the same person heaps of times in a row,
it’s -Yoinking!- dumb.
As far as I know, no one gets a perm ban for boosting just once… One would have to do this multiple times. Example: Language boosting 1 time is like a 2wk xp ban I think.
If this is what you were doing, you should have stopped after the first time!
If you were doing something worse like modding code for rank or booting, bridging. Then you 100% deserve this ban. My advice to you is DONT CHEAT. Play the game, have fun, get better “legit” like most everyone else. As for getting unbanned, Its not going to happen.
If you still want to play H3 then start a new account, if your xbox was banned, then buy a new one. The new H4 limited edition xbox is coming out and looks sweet!
Just remember, DO NOT CHEAT! it ruins the game for everyone!
