now this may be a bit of a random thought but after playing some ODST the last couple days I came to thinking, on the mission Data Hive we can see A Drone nest?, colony? At one point during the latter part of the mission and I was wondering has there ever been Lore dropped on how they dealt with it?. I mean I’m sure it’s as simple as using some incidenary grenades or a flame thrower but I wondered it it’s ever been mentioned in Lore as I don’t think I’ve ever seen it discussed.

It turns out none of that was nesessary. The data center was actually on top of the portal device that the prophet of truth was there for. When the covies excavated the area around the portal the data center was destroyed.
