Halo2 Anniversary. Halo2 MULITPLAYER!

This topic is simple. When Halo2 Anniversary launches, I do not want Halo4 multiplayer. I do not care about a Halo 5 beta. It would be nice, but I dont need it. I dont need crackdown, or any other title with that game. What I want(NEEEDDDDDDD)is for the Halo 2 anniversary to have the HALO2 MULTIPLAYER!

I do not need new weapons. Map alterations. Map textures. Mechanics. Perks. Sprinting, or any other crap we have in todays Halo. We want the original Halo2 mutliplayer, with the original maps and weapons.

If you want, feel free to make some brand new maps to go along with it, and make the walls shiny. IDK. BUT DONT YOU DARE RUIN THOSE MAPS!

Thank you.
Concerned fan.

couldn’t agree more

If they brought back halo 2 multiplayer it would be the second best day of my life next to being born. I think it would definitely help bring back some of the players that they have lost. The population is so low already if they don’t give us something to play soon then every multiplayer fan will have moved on completely by November 2015. Especially with the bad taste halo 4 left in 90% of fan’s mouths.

I hated halo 4 but I’m trying to keep the faith.

They will not return the original mp.

I would love to see Halo 2 Multiplayer again, though I cannot guarantee it will return however…

All I want is H2 ORIGINAL MP. All the maps, weapons, etc…

We didn’t expect you to be able to confirm anything…

Nobody except 343 knows, so of course lol.

But since Halo 5 is not a 2014 game it would be really stupid not to include original multiplayer (actually it would feel like a serious kick in the balls).
First of all, It wouldn’t compete with any new Halo game. It would be a great fan service and something to keep Halo players occupied with till Halo 5 arrives. Another plus side is that Halo 5 gets the development time it needs.

The timing is perfect, and everything seems to fit. Im super hyped for E3 this year, I’m praying for a Halo 2 Anniversary announcement, and afterwards praying for it to be a great remake. A remake thats just as good as N64 Perfect Dark remake on the 360.

I would buy a Xbox one in a heartbeat if Halo 2 anniversary happened on that platform.

i would buy an xbox one only for for halo 2’s multiplayer

I agree. So far I have no desire to purchase a XBone. H2 Annaversary would change all that.

Of course you can’t confirm but you want to keep Halo number one over Titanfall and Destiny, you BETTER keep multiplayer the same (maybe as a playlist?) and then add Halo 4/5 content. We don’t care about that however. The reason I and many of my compatriots got addicted to Halo was because of Halo 2 multiplayer. I’ve been waiting for this game ever since Halo Anniversary was announced and released 3 years ago. Don’t let us down, and if you aren’t already making Halo 2 Anniversary, start tomorrow. Thanks.

Currently, I don’t care about Halo Xbox One or any new Halo being produced that isn’t an anniversary… and Titanfall is being released on 360. As far as I care, the Xbox One is not necessary and I don’t plan on getting it. BUT, if Halo 2 Anniversary is released on only Xbox One, I will throw my Xbox 360 out my 4th story window and go buy an Xbox One tomorrow. Hands down. Because this Halo HAS TO BE UNTOUCHED (other than graphics, music, and maybe Easter Eggs?) BUT, do not touch the “feel” of Halo 2. Keep the weapons, and remaster all the maps. THAT’S IT. And if you are generous, give us the extra levels Bungie left out on the extraordinary long campaign ALL OF US CAMPAIGN NERDS WANT TO SEE BACK. NONE OF THIS 8 LEVELS AND 2 OF THEM ARE STUPID CUTSCENE STUFF. Halo 2 is great but since it is a REMAKE it doesn’t have to have 343i twist by getting rid of that multiplayer and horse-feeding Halo 4/5 down our throats. If you want to regain your fan-base/community, make Halo 2 like the original, just with 1080p or 720p w/ 60 frames a second and take us back to the good ole days of Halo.

Love, every fan of Halo 1/2/3

I’ve got a better idea. Keep Halo 2 Multiplayer with same mechanics, rules and weapons, just update the graphics and sound.

PLUS, every multiplayer level they bring to the Halo 2 multiplayer they can bring over to Halo 4 as well. So you’ll either have Halo 2 gameplay on the maps or Halo 4 gameplay. It would be like two different games on the same stages. At least that way everyone’s kind of happy. The Halo 2 Multiplayer would be on the Halo 2 Anniversary disc, but you can send the maps over to Halo 4 to be played on that game. I like that idea.

First, why does this guy have yellow text? I want yellow text.

Secondly, if the Halo2 anniversary doesnt have the original halo 2 multiplayer, I can pretty much promise that everyone I know who played Halo 2 will not be purchasing that game. I still have the game in a box right next to me. I can play the campaign any time I want.

I bet they’d buy it if it had it’s own multiplayer and it’s original multiplayer system separate from Halo 4. You can’t play Halo 2 online without XBConnect and IIRC there isn’t many people playing it. Who would be bothered?

He is using html colour code.Try to quote the guy again and look at the HTML markups. You can highlight text and choose a colour from the menu.

And i agree. Halo 2 without it’s own multiplayer would be like pizza without fill, it’s quite an important part.
Sure it will be great to experience the campaign in updated graphics, but Halo 2 have always been about multiplayer.

Never mind had already replied to this thread sorry.

Halo 2 was made for multiplayer IMO. Not to say the campaign was bad, but the MP was where it shined.
