halo youtubers

cod ww2 just released and i think its sucks compare to bf1
Many youtubers quit making halo videos example pingy, spilced ,proximity, eagle, mintblitz, ispiteful ,and ubernick will have way less halo content which is disappointing
These youtuber are big you all may know them so if they say that they quit halo many of there fans might too
My point is halo 5 is becoming less popular because of there complaints
You can hardly find any halo youtuber without complaining to 343 bout how sweaty and boring the game is. So that makes their fans think the same think and might quit halo thus making the population low.
i blame the youtubers for halo 5 population being so bad they put the mindset of everyone to think that halo 5 sucks which it doesn’t
the only youtubes i can name without complaining bout 343 are trypal, juxtu zamon and lukethenotable it used to be ubernick but now he complains bout the game being sweaty
Guys there is no such thing as sweaty everyone has there own way of playing
we play against the same people all the time because the halo youtubes dont really praise and instead of giving the game a good name instead they complain bout it.
You’ve got people like act man ,lng(sometimes) and favyn non stop hatin on the game about halo not feeling like halo like wtf are you talking about how does halo 5 feel like cod.
It saddens me how toxic this community is and how bad halo youtubers are for halo
I understand they dont wanna play anymore no ones forcing you to play HALO 5 you can still play 3,reach and 4 so you quit halo
I have more than 20days of wz and 15days of arena and i still enjoy the game.
Halo 6 wont satisfy everyone and i think that the reason why halo 6 will get hate is because of the youtubers opinions and get everyone to be on the same page as them.
A big disappointment from them and lets just hope they like halo 6 so that everyone else like it
This is my opinion on why halo 5 population is bad and why halo 6 will receive alot of hate so please dont blast me with hate comments. Im not saying i hate all of them infact i used to be in ispitefuls clan but left due to inactivity. I love ubernick, lukethenotable , reachway and used to like pingy and ispiteful
Peace!

Let me get this straight. You’re concerned that popular Halo Youtubers quitting Halo 5 will cause their fans to also quit Halo 5? ok, if that is even happening, it’s probably a good thing since it would reduce the amount of brainless sheep who can’t think for themselves in the Halo playerbase. Honestly what kind of person says “oh no a popular person doesn’t like this thing I like, now I have to stop liking it!” Good riddance to them, I say

I don’t think it’s just agreeing with a popular person because they’re popular (at least for most of them), rather I think the Youtubers are just articulate enough to sway the people who don’t know enough to see where their arguments fall apart. So people who would otherwise be constructive community members are being poisoned against the franchise because they don’t know any better.

This wouldn’t be an issue at all if the people who said they quit Halo actually did, instead of lingering around the forums for an eternity trying to convince the rest of us that we’re wrong for sticking with the franchise.

ok, that’s a little more plausible. But, I still can’t bring myself to have much respect for people who let themselves get influenced by nonsense on Youtube so easily. I guess the root of the problem is all the “fake news” on the internet, huh? Seems like everyone lives in their own little information bubble these days

First off, Youtubers don’t change peoples minds because nobody can help liking a game or not. I think the youtubers that are popular (actman, favyn, halo canon, etc.) are popular because they are merely resonating with an audience that shares their points of view on a game series. Criticism is necessary, especially when the game has sold so poorly.

Second off, “toxic” is a strawman argument that everybody seems to use these days (especially in politics) that is meant to dicredit someone else’s negative opinion on a subject.

Third off, people have less halo content primarily because there is no “halo news” or new halo stuff to show or talk about.

Fourth off, why do you even care that people are openly quitting halo??? They don’t like the newer products and don’t want to waste money on them, so why should they be force to buy a product that they don’t like?

Fifth off, people have complaints. That’s not controversial. And anyone who don’t share they complaints, in my opinion, are fake and should not be taken seriously as content creators (tmartn, Halo Canon, LuketheNotable, and Ali-A come to mind). You want honesty in this community and you need to build the bridges so that people like you and people like Actman or Favyn can have an open dialogue about how 343 should make their games better. Favyn has experience in game development and speaks with facts and intellectual honesty, which is why his opinion should matter to EVERYONE, even if you don’t agree with his opinions.

Sixth off, you complain that youtubers quitting halo would be bad for halo and that it would make their fans quit also (which is a complete falicy! People are gonna buy Halo 6 if they want to buy Halo 6 and nobody’s gonna tell them otherwise), yet you completely contradict yourself by saying “nobody’s forcing them to play Halo 5 so they should play Halo 3, Halo Reach, and Halo 4 so you quit halo.” This makes no sense to me.

Seventh off, this is not a “hate post.” I’m happy that you enjoy the newer halo games, and I’m grateful that you are apart of this great community. The problem I have is that if people don’t agree with your opinions and what YOU think is good for halo, then they should be ostracized and seen as “toxic” and/or bad for halo. This is an insane argument! I know you love the newer halo games, but the vast majority of the halo community obviously does not.

Eighth off, using your own logic, if all these “toxic” halo youtubers quit halo, wouldn’t that be a good thing for you? Didn’t you just make the point that “complaints” are damaging halo and making the community “toxic”? So why is them quitting a bad thing for you?

Youtubers can play whatever the hell they want, they aren’t limited to only halo. If you want a halo only channel then watch halo follower… actually no i take that back, he doesn’t deserve anyone’s attention.

If this topic is really important to you then how about you try making a halo youtube channel, and who knows maybe you’ll have fun doing it.

Waypoint is not the platform to complain about people you don’t like. If you’re not happy with the content people are producing, you’re free to ignore them, or deliver your criticism to them personally. But complaining about people and blaming them on the state of Halo’s popularity is not conductive to constructive discussion here.
