I remember way back when, when I used to watch straight vanilla gameplay of Halo 2 and Halo 3, and machinimas and what not. They were fantastic. That seemed to be the majority of the halo content that was being posted and viewed on youtube. When I look up Halo on YouTube now I come across what seems to be mostly videos like “How to Save Halo” or “Why Halo is Dying.” Maybe Im just coming across that content only? Is anybody else having the same experience? And if you are how do you feel about it? Actually makes me feel prettyyyy sad to think thats the state our game is in. 
You also have to consider how YouTube has changed since Halo 2 and 3. There are now many more content creators, and the algorithms for what shows up for certain topics has changed. There still exists gameplay videos and machinimas for Halo, but more people find it easier to make a video bashing or defending changes made to the franchise. Also there is now a larger focus on views in the YouTube community, so content creators are more likely to publish buzzword videos and use clickbait to get views, as opposed to posting quality content for the sake of just making content.
Well get used to it because that’s the way it is. And there is still content like gameplay and machinimas it’s just suppressed by other crap.
