Xbox Live may have changed the face of multiplayer gaming, but do you still find yourself looking for all the fun and hilarity of the by gone days of Halo CE LAN’s? 16 people crowded into the basement around 4 tv’s, the tangle of cords and cables (most likely all plugged into a single outlet), the greasy pizza, the 10 cases of pop, and not to mention the laughter and hilarity between matches. Well look no further, Midland base is the place for you!

Founded 26 FEB 10 we are one of largest and most active groups offering everything Halo. Our ranks span all areas of the globe, from North America to Europe and even New Zealand, we’ve got members everywhere. So no matter what time your playing, there is most likely someone on you can link up with and take the fight to the covenant (or the UNSC if you prefer the dino’s).

We pride ourselves in offering several regular game nights with a friendly and fun loving atmosphere (squeaky sheep trash talking only!). From matchmaking, to customs, to screenshots and everything in between, we offer it all. Not to mention full in depth forums on everything Halo (we support all current Halo titles plus upcoming ones already announced) and our totally awesome website!

I have been a Midland Base member since august. And in the short 3 months I have been there, I have to say it is by far the best clan out there. Some clans only recruit by skill, rank, and even by gender. At Midland, I DOES NOT MATTER!! If your bad, we will make you good. We will give you tips, help you with challenges, and provide endless laughs along the way. If you feel intimidated at first being “The new guy”, thats normal. The first few game nights I was in I did not even talk to them, but I started to loosen up and now I would like to think I have made a few friends in the group. After join I cant even remember how I won in matchmaking with all the random people on my team, but now with so many great halo players, I feel at home, and trust me you will to.
Its a hellava to join up!

I am also a member of this awesome group! I’ve been joined up with them for more than a year and i’m so glad I found them. I would feel that I was kinda in DeathM6’s shoes, I was shy but eventually I started talking and made some good friends.

Midland Base is about having fun while playing Halo, we are all you need!

I didn’t join to long ago but was glad I did. Midland Base doesn’t have the no nonsense system of a clan and is a lot more layed back. And by the way, if you happen to be fighting against kegler, don’t go near him. He’ll probably either have rockets or will be armor locking.

I’m also a part of Midland Base, and I can honestly say I never have as much fun as on our game nights. It feel like I’m back in the good ol day of Halo 2, where I would log on and all of my buds would already be on. We’re full of laid back guys who like to win, but it’s fine if we dont. If you like to win but you like having fun more, there’s nothing to lose by giving us a try!

^ This is one of the reasons I founded the group. A bunch of people all wound up tight about skill and all the “one V one me” or “What’s your KD?” talk all the time. Seriously, who cares?

It’s a game. Let’s get together and play and have fun. Sure, we want to win, but if we don’t - oh, well.

Those who want to enjoy the game without having to listen to talk all the time about KD or “who carried who” or “one V one me, man!” should check us out.

The group’s leadership are all working adults with careers and families and we realize our real lives, careers, and families are more important than our KD ratio in a game. So when we get together to play, we play just to enjoy the game.
