I’m personally torn right now. On one hand, the Halo story is being continued in a pretty cool looking way but on the other I don’t think can afford the new Xbox.
Even if I could, I still have certain issues with the console but that isn’t what’s important.
Speculation time? Anyone wanna guess what that massive creature was? I personally think it’s a War Sphinx but I’ve been surprised before.
I’m guessing that Halo 5 itself will take place at a much later date than 4. I’m going to assume this new title is somewhat bridging that gap a little. They’re probably doing this instead of making this Halo 5 because they’re probably going to be making some big changes to the gameplay of the story (hoping for something Metroid: Prime like) and that not many will complain about this as it’s a separate title trying to do something different to the rest of the games.
I’m pretty unhappy that my Halo years are coming to a screeching halt. I have no interest in the Xbox One and if Halo 5 is going to be anything like Halo 4, I probably won’t be going anywhere near it.
I’m disappointed that Halo 2 Anniversary, the only thing (if done properly) that could possibly have compelled me to purchase an Xbox One, isn’t happening, so I think I’m done with Halo for the time being. Perhaps I’ll renew my Gold for three months and play Halo 3 until it dies completely.

Yeah, it’s got so bad for me that I’m going to buy a PS3 during the week. If I ain’t buying an Xbox One or PS4 then I’m not going to miss out on all those exclusives I wanted to try.
I’m just stuck on WHY THE -Yoink- WAS HE WEARING A CLOAK. WHAT -Yoinking!- PURPOSE COULD IT SERVE. HE. HAS. POWER ARMOR. THERE IS NO -Yoinking!- REASON FOR THE CLOAK.
I also am not impressed by the robot. Maybe I’m just jaded, maybe I was just too focused on the cloak, but really I’m just not impressed by the robot.
I’d probably wait a bit to get the next Halo, if 343 can maintain my interest long enough. I suppose I’m gaining faith in the gameplay, but they botched a decent premise in Halo 4, so I’ll wait until I can get some reviews from the FUTD and Halopedia forums.
