Yes you heard me. Make around 15 armor designs but make them look REALLY COOL. Just make sure to have A LOT OF SKINS for them. This will make sure their’s not 500 types of armor that look like alien robot unicorns. Please please please bring back Hayabusa armor! Also make Eva look cool again.
15 armors…maybe 20. Give players more of a variety, some new, some returning, etc. However, the only armor set I expect to be in the next title is the Recon, exactly the way it looks in Halo 4.
I remember people made jokes about EVA looking like it has bug eyes or that it was a fish bowl, but somehow it looked best then. Now it REALLY looks like a fishbowl, also the goatee being replaced by a bump looks ugly.
I don’t care how many armor sets they have as long as: the good ones and classics don’t get removed and the new ones look awesome.
I would agree. I liked Reach’s armor where you could add ‘accessories’ to the helmets, and would love that for all armor pieces , and the option to move those pieces anywhere you wanted.

Frankly, Halo 4’s armor is strange and ugly. I want to play as a futuristic counter-insurgency supersoldier, not as a transformer, power ranger or storm trooper.
Overly harsh? Probably. But I simply can’t stand most of the armor.

Some of the armors are so universally ugly I’ve never seen people use them. CIO, Hazop, Engineer, more derpy helmets without visors, etc. They don’t match with Halo’s theme and with so few people using or caring about them I don’t see much of a point to keeping them.

Well, those can be redesigned, there are lot’s of versinos of the same armor, look at Reach’s and 3’s Scout armor for example.
But well, since there are some you don’t like, might as well remove it.
Can I at least keep my Venator? (And maybe having a free version of FOTUS?)… BTW I like the Engineer armor, and if the Venator wasn’t there I would be wearing it.
Oh and one more thing, no more stupid armor effects like in reach. Please… Oh and yah I guess you can keep venator.

Those all have very similar looks yet their slight variations make them different enough to tell apart. I just like the basic visor helmets. I don’t care what else is in the game but give me many helmets that have normal visors.**

Since Venator is just Clarke’s armor from Dead Space I don’t mind if 343 can manage to get it into the next game, but if they’re going to they may as well try and get Hayabusa back.
If 343 can make Halo 4 take up two discs to play with less content in them than any other Halo game, then I don’t know if there is enough room on the Xbox One for them to put everything we want in Halo 5. I’m fine with them getting rid of the less/never used armor sets if that’s the case. Also it could just help them save time to work on the better armors and the rest of the game.

I have to agree.
I remember when players knew all of the armor pieces, and you were able to brag to the world by wearing it. Now, there are waaaaay too many.
They can focus their time on something more productive…
Oh my God, I absolutely HATED Reach’s armor. Most of it made me look like a lunchbox with its square-ish and clunky looks. For me, Halo 3 definitely had the best armor with Halo 4 coming in a close second. I believe Mjolnir should have a sleeker style although I do think Halo 4’s armory was way too…clean. It needs to have a grittier look to it.
