I know there is another thread like this but that was a poll and what not.
anyways I noticed an article that said we can pre-order halo Xbox One at the Microsoft store.

they were right.
I thought it would be unlikely that it would be at VGX but this shows that there might be a chance.
what do you guys think about this?
Too be honest, I really DO NOT think this is any proof that Halo Xbox One will be at the VGX, I’m sorry, but unless microsoft or 343i comes out and says “You might see Halo Xbox One at the VGX”, DO NOT EXPECT IT.
Remember what people said about Halo 4 and VGX/VGAs, they had just as much “Proof”, and swore up and down that it’d happen, and nothing happened.
Take any information from any source other than Microsoft and 343i as grains of salt. The people/person behind that article most likely knows just as much as you and me, and is most likely trying to draw conclusions to get people hyped for VGX.
But like I’ve pointed out over and over again throughout the years:
Don’t Expect anything Halo related at any “BIG” show/convention, Unless it’s E3.
Take any and ALL information from sources other than Microsoft and 343i as grains of salt.
All rumors are most likely false, so treat them as if they are.
Treat all leaks as fake.
But following what I’ve lady out in red, you’ll be both excited for the next Halo game, but also surprised when information is released.

Also, the second link only takes me to the microsoft store, nothing Halo related.
I would be very happy if they show something there, I’m not expecting anything though, I don’t want to be disappointed.

Yea… i know not to expect it. in fact I said in the other thread not to expect for another 3+ months. so I am taking this with a grain of salt. this just piqued my curiosity and i thought i should share it.

Agree, it did kind of pique my curiosity, but not enough to be worth saying anything other than “Oh hey, you can preorder Halo Xbox One from Microsoft’s store… Is there even an Microsoft Store in Utah?”
Possibly. Are there any other big events between VGX and E3? Big enough for a Halo reveal? Anything’s possible.

I’m going to resort to an old saying as my personal description of what my views are on Halo at VGX.
“Hope for the best, but expect the worst”
Frankly I don’t think we’ll see anything Halo-related at the VGAs. But if we do, I’ll be pretty damn happy.
Well on the xbox one countdown on the dashboard a few weeks ago. They showed the Halo 3 trailer evolving into the Halo 5 trailer. And then it said world premier of something at VGX.

Doesn’t have to be revealed at a big event. Could just reveal itself on its own, like Halo 4 did.

The E3 2006 Halo 3 trailer evolves into the Halo Xbox one trailer. I swear it said something about the VGX either in it or right after that was shown. If you dont recall what trailer i am speaking of at the end Cortana says this is the way the world ends. And at the beginning i have defied gods and demons. Then she says i am your shield i am your sword.

Halo 4 was revealed at the Microsoft spring showcase… It was not revealed by itself.

sorry bud, your going to have to prove it. can you show us a video?
I still don’t think we’ll see any Halo 5 news until the calendar switches to 2014. And I wouldn’t be surprised if they did the reveal as a standalone event, with E3 to expand upon at a later date.
The Xbox One reveal has given me the impression that MSFT has learned from Apple - showmanship counts, and using your own event to drum up interest can work if done properly.
Still, I say we won’t see anything substantial for Halo 5 until at least May. But I hope I’m wrong.
I don’t think it means anything to be honest.
It could happen anyway, but I wouldn’t be holding my breath over it.
There will be nothing Halo related at VGX. Unless 343/Microsoft hold their own surprise event, we will Likely have to wait until GDC. Which is not “that” far away. A couple months. Either there and/or at the XBox Spring Showcase, if Microsoft has one this year.
I know people want info now, but if Halo 4’s pre-launch trickle of info is anything to go by, we will be fed scraps until a huge reveal.
