I have an idea of when we will start getting more info about Halo X1. In a statement made a little over a year ago, a MS PR person said that Microsoft plans on hosting major PR reveals at their own events in the future. This is how I knew that products like the Xbox One wouldn’t be revealed at gaming events, but at something that MS was hosting. Since there aren’t any really big gaming events until E3 in June(except things like PAX, and possibly CES), do we know of any events that MS is hosting in the Spring? That is where I would put my money on getting more info.
Microsoft Spring Showcase is the most likely. That’s when they revealed Halo 4.

Halo 4 didn’t have a GI issue until May. It appeared sporadically in GI as speculative articles, but nothing solid until the May issue.

We’re actually running on less than we did with Halo 4. With Halo 4 we already had an official synopsis, a concept art trailer, the Anniversary terminals which revealed the villain, and a panel talking about it. With Halo 5, we have nothing. It might as well not even exist at this point.
I know they gotta support Halo 4, but with the new console generation, and the complete lack of Halo 5 info at all, I can’t see MS waiting for too much longer.
For what it’s worth, Halo 4 was revealed in March, so there’s that I guess.

I suppose I can’t give you a serious answer. Just that I saw the DEVIL as someone who represents hardships, or suffering. Obviously, this is only a game and nothing physically is happening to us, but I saw it as a petty comic relieve of the situation. In regards to having to wait months for info.
EDIT: You may be thinking that why did you include Devil in your name if you think it represents suffering. Well, if you were thinking it or not I put Devil in my name because of this guy. Devil
I personally think 343 Industries and Microsoft Studios shouldn’t reveal to much, it takes the awe out of the game. When Frank O’Connor told us about the new forerunner enemy, there was no anticipation about knowing what the hell they were in Halo 4. Little snip-its of campaign perhaps, but mostly game play from multiplayer; this way campaign would be much more enjoyable, and repeatable.
i’m fine with keeping the campaign under wraps for awhile but i wasnt impressed with halo 4’s multiplayer and i’d really like to start seeing what direction they are going in with the next game.

I totally agree. Hopefully they even added more promethean weapons, new vehicles, enemies, brute weaponry, even the fan made vanguisher… forerunner LMG or heavy automatic weapon?
