Constructive feedback on halo games, past, present, or future.
I know a lot of people have issues with playing the arbiter and the levels that don’t include the master chief but it was an excellent way to enhance the story. There are two sides to every story - halo 2 allowed you to experience the whole struggle.
The music I loved across all games, the length of the levels, the enemy voices - the first three games were great at it all. Last week in reach I heard one of the grunts talking in english, the sleeping ones, that was a first time, I hope Halo 4 will have the funny voices that the first three had.
Wishlist for the future:
Funny voices
Less emphasis on precision weapons
More balance between weapons long - short range
Balance between AA’s (We know Halo 4 will have sprint and thrusters right?) - correct me if I’m wrong.
Less emotional campaign gameplay and more action. Most of the levels in reach at the end of them had some emotional cutscene, example: ending of fourth reach mission TOTS - -Yoink- the frigate went down, we’re screwed (pretty much what it looked like), and Halo CE end of first mission: you’re going down to Halo on the escape pod and the covenant is bombarding the pillar of autumn as captain keyes pilots the POA manually onto Halo.
Reach is like: Oh -Yoink-!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JmX1iI19QfE
HCE is like: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QY6Kd-qfRM8
Combat Evolved’s cutscene to finish the Pillar of Autumn is so much more awesome - and that’s what I want: instead of sad emotional gameplay, just plain awesome.
