Hey everyone, so I came up with an interesting idea. After I finished watching Marvel’s What If?, I was inspired and came up with the idea of making a Halo Machinima based on the show but instead, it would be done in Halo and within the lore of Halo. So I would like you to come up with a few ideas that I may potentially use for the video.
Here are some things I’d like to say before you send your submissions:
Try to stick to the the Halo Games listed in parentheses (Halo: CE, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo: Reach, Halo 4, and Halo 5) I haven’t played Halo Wars 1 or 2 nor Halo 3: ODST…yet. - I would like to hear some interesting ideas. What if every Spartan-II died during augmentation & the more expendable Spartan-IIIs were rushed into production
a lot of events in the lore that included the IIs especially with Chief would’ve gone differently, perhaps even the war itself might’ve ended sooner in the Covenant’s favor.

What if the Covenant was under attack by the unstoppable genocidal aliens known as Humans?
The first attempts to contact these new mysterious aliens ended poorly, and now the Human Empire is on a rampage destroying world after world, trying to rid the galaxy of all life other than them. Can the races of the Covenant stop the Humans before all is lost?

what if humanity had won the forerunner war?
what if the UNSC never came to prominence during the mars rebellion?
what if the elites had found the forerunner ship and not the prophets?
what if the insurrection won before covenant contact?
What if the spartan ones did work and not failed like it did in the main timeline. What if chief killed everyone on the pillar in CE. What if arby failed in halo 2.

What if the Covenant accepted the humans into their caste system? How would they have cooperated?
What if Chief never discovered Requiem and never awakened the Didact leading and potentially if Cortana was saved by Halsey.
What if the Arbiter joined Sesa Refumee in Halo 2 and the potential unforseen consequences of that.
What if the Pillar of Autumn never found Halo because Noble six failed to deliver Cortana. How the war would play out without the discovery of the rings.
What if the Librarian meet the humanity at the beginning of the war :
After the first covenant attack on the UNSC, a Librarian imprint arrives on Earth and explain them the forerunner secrets.
The UNSC find Onyx and open his secret world shield. They use the Hurakog to recreate forerunners technologies.
The UNSC secure all Halo and Requiem.
The UNSC use forerunner technologies to defeat the covenant. They use forerunner AI to prove them the prophet lies and make peace with them. What if all the Spartans II escapes from Reach with the Pillar of Autumn :
The Pillar of Autumn arrive on Halo and the Spartans fight covenant, floods and Spark. They capture a covenant ship and leave the Halo with all marines and the captain Keyes, just before Blue Team destroys the Halo.
They return to Reach and save Halsey from Castle base. They recover the slipspace crystal in the forerunner installation under the base before leaving.
The prophet of Regret attack Earth and the Spartans board his ship and capture him.
Regret tells them about Halo Delta and the Pillar of Autumn go there.
The Spartans destroy the Halo with nukes before High Charity arrive on it
The Spartans board High Charity and destroy it
With no central power, covenant species fight themselves and no longer attack Earth. UNSC have time to develop forerunner technologies
The Arbiter rules the elite and attack Earth, but the Spartans kill him. What if nobody find a Halo :
The Pillar of Autumn came back to Earth with Master Chief
The Pillar of Autumn return to Reach to find survivors. Master Chief save Halsey and survivors Spartans in Castle base, then recover the slipspace crystal in the forerunner installation under the base.
The prophet of Regret attack Earth, then fled in slipspace, and the Pillar of Autumn follow him. They arrive to High Charity and the covenant fleet destroys the pillar of Autumn and the Master Chief on board.
The covenant fleet arrives on Earth and destroys it. What if the Gravemind infect the Master Chief and the Arbiter :
The infected Master Chief arrive in High Charity and kill the prophet of Truth an Mercy, but Tartarus leave with the Index.
The infected Arbiter stop Tartarus to activate the Halo. He infect Johnson, Miranda and Rtas 'Vadum.
High Charity arrive on Earth with Master Chief, Arbiter, Tartarus, Johson, Miranda and Rtas 'Vadum and infect all humanity

Humanity wouldn’t accept to be dominate by the covenant, they would resist. When a species resist to the covenant, they fight them really hard (they glass a part of the Hunter’s planet to force them to surrendar). So the war will still happen, but without religious genocide. Maybe they would enslave human colonies one by one, and that would take more time, giving UNSC more opportunities to fight.
