Hey guys, so I met my fiance playing Halo 3 matchmaking and at the time we were living in separate states. What kinds of things should we incorporate for our Halo wedding? So far, the grooms cake is halo themed with 2 spartans (1 is proposing to the other ) and on the cake it will say “a match made in Halo” but now I’m really wanting to add a few more Halo touches. I know there are some die hard halo fans out there like myself and I could really use some suggestions lol.

I like the idea of Halo theme wedding.
I think your ring could be look like this one.
What about the invitation card? For now that’s all I can suggests.

Congrats,Good luck and the invitation cards should have a halo theme shaped like a controller and nice drawings/photoshop of halo characters.That’s what I did for my Birthday LAN party.Have some halo music play throughout.

Maybe a forerunner look to the wedding, like how in CE you just walk and there are things around the room, so maybe the cake or whatever you want to have a forerunner detail with, and then maybe a marine slogan that can have something to do with you two like till death do us apart with an assault rifle crossing another

It’s probably too much but I think it would be cool if, where you want to take place the wedding or at least where you say the happy yes/ i do, so in the room/hall you should light it like this one. Or something similar to it.

Back to the invitation card…what about using symbols like the librarian symbol and the didact symbol? Or since we are all Reclaimers use this in the background of the invitation text.

343i has retconned this. Human population in the Halo-verse are not all Reclaimers anymore. An unknown ratio of the population is (how large that fraction is, however, is still unknown - could be anywhere from 1/1000 to 1/2).
Unless Chant integrated the Reclaimer geas into the rest of the human population brought from Earth prior to the Array discharge, that is, with only a few either slipping through the cracks or were unaltered…
Also, regarding your choice for the Didact symbol… that was Shadow-of-Sundered-Star’s identification sigil after he got eaten and spat out by a Gravemind, and subsequently went completely and utterly nutters. Not exactly the kind of thing that one would want on a card for a celebratory event.
