Hey all, here’s a list of forum feature that we have added today:
Forums
Dark theme option – Visit the Settings page to set your preference - Improved forums layout with focus on mobile friendliness - Forum category pages that show popular topics within the category - Increased number of forum popular topics from 3 to 10
Notifications
Quotes – if you are quoted, you will be notified - Mentions – if you are tagged in a post, you will be notified

I enjoy the dark theme option, the easier way to get to forums/sub-forums without having to leave a thread, and being notified when we are quoted.
However, I dislike the circles under our posts. The “like” button could easily be missed by people. It also has an unfortunate loophole where you can “like” your own comment. And our username and badges being on the right side of our icon visually compresses our posts, which just creates a sense of clutter.

Thank you, Waypoint dev neighbors. While you may sit with us on floor #4, your hard work is known across the lands as #1.
I feel the addition of the “Show more” and “show less” when the screen is too small or you are on mobile is kinda annoying. I mean when I do a lot of editing of my Halo Waypoint lists on mobile, this is a real annoying. Could there be an option to turn this off? I mean, thank goodness its one click, then everything shows. but still annoying.
I am curious to why they moved all the stuff below the posts. It was great at the top of them.
The quote notifications are great though. Plus a few others I love. So I guess I am 50/50 with this update.

YOOOOOOOOO, Dark theme for mobile site. Omfg a dream come true.
Everything is great, though I’m not sure why add the “show more” function. I guess it’s to help with clutter, but I like seeing the entire posts. I can live with it. My clicking finger is going to be stronger than ever. I really would like an option to turn off “Show more” for mobile.
Can the username, rank name, and medals do back to the way they were before? It’s great for short posts but looks odd for large posts/quoting. I like everything else added in this update.
One more thing I noticed. New waypoint isn’t that supportive of Lanscape mode on Iphone. By that, I mean that turning my phone over to Landscape (long screen) makes scrolling weird, in that the screen snaps to posts awkwardly when scrolling. It’s extremely annoying, so I’ll have to keep it Portrait mode for now…
