Quote notifications?
This should be standard for any forum, let alone the official Halo one. It’s a little tiring how we’ve went through so many forum iterations since 2010 and we still haven’t seen it implemented.
Fantastic usability update! Seriously, really awesome stuff, especially the inbox features; reading through tons of messages in the past was quite the pain, and I can immediately see that this is a massive boon to the PM feature for Waypoint.
Still some other stuff I would love to see, i.e quote/reply notifications, such as those that Moa mentioned, but nevertheless these changes in this update are quite welcome.
EDIT* Might I also ask what exactly the changes to leadership in Spartan Companies pertains to, and when the inactive/active state changes occur, and then where to see them?
The is great update from the web team, congrats on getting this live! Probably got sick of me posting about notifications for the past year haha So glad the search bar has had a revamp as well, it’s really smooth now
Could you add something similar to Audit Log for the Spartan Company side: Halo 5 -> Last Login DATE for members of the Company. It would help keep up with who is active and who isn’t.
There are people that just quit playing for a month and unless you check each and every player, you can’t find that.
I understand that checking if we pair up or not will never be an easy task, but companies should be communities and adding this would help keep it active since the cap is at 100 people.
Here is a weird glitch relating to Masked accounts.
At the top of all posts is a link to the OP’s account. This works great in normal occasions.
Except when the account is masked.
When the account is masked like the Forum Team. The link to the OP account takes the user to the words the account is masked as. And not the actual account.
For example the Forum Team GT isnt Forum Team. Yet the link above for this post take you to this account.
Another example. The Catalogs GT isnt Catalog. Yet the link above for this post takes you to this account.
Just saying this could be annoying for the people called Forum Team, Catalog, and Sarah Palmer if they start to use the forum. I mean they might get PMs that are rather annoying for them.

I made this account to comment, because my main account doesn’t work on the waypoint page.
Everytime I want to visit my online profile with my other account VEXSONA on Halo Waypoint [My Profile, Service Record or even Settings] it either says “Problem Detected - Well, this is embarrassing. Looks like we have some problems on our end.” or Safari can’t even load the page (this happens when I want to see “my profile”).
It seems like my account doesn’t exist on waypoint but it works online and on the xbox site.
Even when I wanted to post this problem with the account it says “You have reached your daily limit of 0 forum posts.”
There is an issue where a post changes to single spacing when you’re editing it instead of staying double spaced or more. It gets annoying when you have to manually respace everything everytime during an edit. Is there any way to fix this?
