343i has already said a redesign is in the works and will be released relatively soon. Plus, they will be launching an app.
As for the MCC ranks, that may be an issue with MCC itself. There are a lot of bugs related to stats with that game.
There will be a blog out this week with details on the work the Waypoint team has been doing.
