This may not be a full release version, I am assuming some time later in the week, we will see a lot of stuff return in updates.
Think of this update as an update to the update, but we can see this update.
I would like to see my GT instead of “Welcome back Spartan”. ‘Welcome back, aVeryEasyTarget’

That would be a great little addition. I hope they do that.
I bet they’re still working on the kinks , but one day in the near future i can see it being purrfect!
I would really like the ability to see my Xbox Live friend’s list on Waypoint, just like we can on Bungie.net, as well as a file browser. I’d assume both will likely happen over time.

Honestly, I like the Spartan thing a lot better.
I’ve always found the “Welcome back, Negative 9” thing that most sites do really annoying since the site doesn’t actually know you and the fact that it’s addressing you by your username really doesn’t mean anything whatsoever.
“Welcome back, Spartan” sounds way more badass even though it’s kind of generic.

I agree. Although I like the thought of Waypoint saying “Welcome back, Enfinit”, Negative 9 has a point - the site really doesn’t know who you are.
“Welcome Back, Spartan” is indeed more badass, not to mention in the UNSC I’d imagine they don’t call anyone by their first name, lol.
It could use those. But do they really need it? Not many people play it. Anyway they can’t get anything off of halo 2. Bungie could not no that either. That is why they gave you the tag next to your gamertag because they did not know wheather you played them or not.
