I’m a Halo guy, always have been, but I really have to hand it to Call of Duty and their Elite service. I have nothing but good things to say about it. First year of DLC all included at no extra cost, clan support, all your stats, you get early access to DLC, exclusive weapon skin and emblems/player cards and much more. Hell, the service was off to rocky start with the servers with so many people downloading it so they gave members an extra month free, and even gave us double exp and a free prestige token as a holiday gift.
I think it would be great if Halo 4 had a service like this. There is already Waypoint, so give us a premium subscription service to it in the form of Waypoint Gold. The regular service can still be free, but if you buy the premium service you get all sorts of perks much like Elite. Perhaps exclusive armor and emblems, pre-paid DLC for a year with early access and tons more.
