So I went to access Waypoint from my dashboard and opened it up. Then a screen appeared asking me to update it, which I tried to do, but an error would come up (800700e8). Another friend of mine is having this problem.
My locale is Greece, if that has anything to do with it.
I’m experiencing the same issue, even thought I downloaded Halo Waypoint by using a US live account, when i’m trying to launch it with my main (Greek) account it isn’t working

Bs Angel answered back through PM and said that the issue is being investigated! So we just have to be patient!
Temporary solution
Go to live.xbox.com and create a new silver account (select United States as country) and then recover it to your console and download Halo Waypoint. You’ll be able to launch it within Halo: CEA with your main account (mine’s Greek) but not from the dashboard
I am from South Africa and I also get this error code. There is something wrong here… Does anyone know when this issue will be resolved? I tried deleting the old waypoint off my HDD and tried re-downloading but I get the same error

Are you actually downloading the NEW Halo Waypoint after deleting the OLD one from your Hard Drive?

I have the exact same problem.
I contacted Microsoft customer care a few weeks ago (this online chat, help thing) and lemme just clarify that you don’t speak to a South African - Bear that in mind reading the rest.
Crystal basically said that some marketplace content may not be available in all regions and countries and I was like… but it’s Halo. What valid reason could there be for making Halo Waypoint, NOT available to everyone? Anyway, this advisor seemed clueless, even though most of her responses were automated/copy-pasted.
Long story short though, she said she can’t escalate my query further because they haven’t had anyone else complain about the issue before and before they can do that, they need more people to notify them of the same problem.
smile Soooooo… If we can have as many of you guys as possible just go onto the Microsoft/Xbox website and let them know via that chat thingy that we can’t access Waypoint, then they might actually take the issue seriously.
Or just chat to them and hopefully another advisor will have something different to say… Then you can maybe let us know of the outcome.
It’s the only way MS is going to take South Africans and their queries seriously, because me and my little one apparently wasn’t important enough.
PS: I still love Xbox and it’s still the superior console.
