The Halo series has always been a stellar gaming series. What makes it such a great saga, is the enthusiasm from it’s fans and developers. Halo Waypoint was created to be the central hub of all things Halo and is doing a fine job, but is neglecting two important Halo installments, the PC ports of Halo CE and Halo 2 Vista.
Halo Waypoint makes no mention of the PC ports of the first two installments and ignores the fact of how fun these games were. Halo CE was an impressive PC port, and then soon after came the release of Halo CE Custom Edition, a fan made version capable of supporting mods created by fans. Halo 2 Vista featured a fully fledged map maker and has dedicated servers still running multiplayer. HAlo 2 Vista was also the first Halo game to support achievements.
What is most puzzling is that Halo 2 vista is not tracked in the achievement tracker on the Halo Waypoint application. Adding Halo 2 vista to the achievement tracker would create the possibility of new levels and rewards from the Halo Waypoint Application. It could even offer a way of introducing new terminals akin to Halo CE anniversary, except instead of finding them in the game you unlock them on Halo Waypoint by unlocking corresponding campaign achievements. For Example: Cairo Station achievement unlocks terminal #1 from Halo 2 Vista.
Halo 2 Vista and Halo CE are rather unique installments of the Halo series and should be supported in the achievement tracker and here on Halowaypoint, a simple description of the two ports or mention of would be sufficient to bring the PC Halos onto Waypoint.
