Halo Waypoint "Curious" code

Hey forums,
I entered the curious into the Halo Waypoint classified code menu on the Halo Waypoint Website and the code says that I get 20000 XP when unlocking the code. When I put in Halo 4 though, no xp was added to my spartan. Help please?

How do you know it wasn’t added?

There isn’t a dialogue saying it has been added etc. your EXP count just increased by 20,000.
