So, do you think you have the skills to be the champion of a waypoint member tournament? I hope so, cause later this month, I’m gonna host one. Winner will get Microsoft points to spend it on whatever they want.
I won’t know the exact date when I will do this but most likely after my birthday, which is the 17th. Here’s how the tournament is going to go down:
Depending on the size of people who want to play, two styles of the tournament may occur. If the tournament has 16 members or over who want to play, we do it this way:
1.) Two teams duke it out on a BTB Slayer or BTB Capture the Flag. The winners of the tournament will face off another team (if there’s that many). If there’s no other players, the 8 winners will go in a 4v4 slayer game. The winning team goes in a 2v2 game and then a 1v1 game to determine the winner.
2.) If there’s less than 16, a team slayer game will occur and then a free for all game type to determine the winner between everyone who’s left.
If you guys want to be in on this; let me know by leaving your GT here and I will let you know as soon as I can when I will host the tournament.

I’m not funding it with my birthday money, it’s just that that’s when I have time to host the tournament. I have a card here that I haven’t used yet

Alright man; I won’t. I’ll talk to her if not, I’ll get someone to make you a special banner or something. Our graphic design artist is really good
Alright, major development in the tournament. Virtual goodies will be given to the victor of this tournament. Those goodies will be revealed in some time, so just be patient.

As for the tourney, I don’t think I will join in this run through. Sounds like it would be fun, but my Halo skillz (that’s right - with a “z”) are severely lacking as of late.

If I’m able (got a wife and 2 kids’ schedule to work around ), I would love to join. I don’t think i have any semblance of a chance to win, but it would be fun to meet other Halo’ers from this site.
