Halo Waypoint Bug Report 30 Day Window

Just a PSA on bug tickets…

I’m not sure how many of you submit the bugs you come across, but I do. I hope lots of you do as well. They don’t exactly make it easy though, so I get it if you don’t. That said, I’m starting to see a decent amount of my bug reports get sneaky 30 day timers on them with the guise of “There was a recent patch, did this fix your issue? … … … This ticket will automatically be closed in 30 days without a reply.”

The patch they referred to was January 19th. They notified me in just the past couple of days.

TL;DR - Stay on top of your tickets. They’re trying to throw them away. Apparently the height of their caring immediately post-launch is a 30 day ultimatum to close your ticket and an assumption that whatever the most recent patch was fixed literally everything wrong with the game.

I mean, I suppose it’s easier to pretend nothing is wrong when you delete your pending log of bug tickets. Amirite? No tickets, no bugs! Huzzah!

I get it’s to manage ticket volume. They’ve fixed nothing though. Valid open tickets for issues you KNOW are still ongoing… Should. Not. Be. Closed.
