I’m filling out my Bio on my profile and have a Youtube channel. I typed my user name in the link but it says
"Must start with user/ or channel/" how do I get my youtube name into the box for the link to work?

Yes. It still gave the error message.

you need to put it “user/(your username)”

It worked but the link doesn’t take it to my channel. Do I have to link it with youtube for it to work?

what you see on waypoint should exactly match your address for youtube… https://www.youtube.com/user/HaloCanon.

Look at my profile. You will find a “link” to halo canon (no it’s not my channel). copy and paste your youtube channels URL into the thing. but only include the bolded portion.

If you look at what its asking you for, its asking for a web URL.

give me your youtube channel’s full URL.

Also please make sure your channel is set to public and is actully created with at least a video or something.

I linked to it just fine. I literately have your channel web-linked on my profile. Just put the bolded portion in. Substitute “user” with “channel”

Now I understood what it was. I kept using my name instead of what the URL was giving me. Now it works. Thanks for your help!
