So I read the support for installing the app but on the android store page there is no join the beta link or button for me… am I missing something? I’d love to try out the new app
Same here. No “join beta” option on the store page present at the moment.
They didn’t say the app was coming did they? Wasn’t it the beta version of the Waypoint website?

They are also flighting iOS and Android (beta) versions of the Halo Channel App, that will be the new waypoint app I think.

I started a support ticket for anyone wondering about this still, kind of curious myself if it would make me even touch the app again, just having another halo game coming after so many years is way more exciting, but the whole aspect is just amazing.

Yeah I have issues with it. I can’t find the beta option on the store even after clearing cache. And the web app version won’t work for me either. I click the link and it just takes be to a halo infinite promotional page.

I hadn’t tried on iOS myself, i have an iPod Touch 5th gen that should be able to handle it, but it almost never comes out of the drawer i have it in. That’s good to hear that at least the iOS side of things seem to be working fine.

If anyone figures out the Android/it starts working please let me know. I have tested the iOs ok my girlfriend’s phone and it works okay. Is a bit slow and buggy in places.

I was able to download it on IOS, I think on Android you have to go to the play store.
Hey guys, on Android download the Halo Channel app and go back to the actual app page on google store and you’ll see the option to Join Beta and enjoy

Download Halo Channel app on the store then open the app and it will ask for an update. Scroll down and you will see a join the beta option. It takes a while for it to add you

Edit: After clearing the cache one more time, it finally works, thanks!
Beta is now available on Android.
It doesn’t work on my Note 10+ on Android 11. Says it’s built for an earlier version of Android and to check for an update. Obviously there isn’t one. Boo hiss. Lol
