Hey, I’m loving this new interface.
Just a quick question for you awesome 343 people.
I know that the Halo Channel is a bigger, better and more bad -Yoink- version of the Xbox 360 Halo Waypoint app, but, will there be a mobile companion app being released?
It would be awesome to have a way to, watch video content, access your game stats, use the forum and get notifications for news and forum reply’s, all in a nice little app.
Anyway, enough of my rambling. Keep up the good work guys
The Halo Channel will be released initially for Windows 8 and Xbox One. As it’s coming to Windows 8, I imagine most (if not all) Windows 8 tables will be able to grab it from the store. The app will also be released for Windows Phone shortly afterwards (this I can’t wait for). There hasn’t been any mention of iOS or Android app releases, but I don’t see why they couldn’t build for these platforms further down the line. The forums are already working for mobile, a lot better than the old ones certainly but could still use a few tweaks. I imagine development will continue post Halo Channel launch and into the new year

I don’t see why they shouldn’t make the app for iOS or Android. Okay, so Halo’s exclusive to Microsoft and Windows devices. I understand why they would release Halo exclusively to the Xbox, and I get why Spartan Assault/Strike is exclusive to Windows devices (with the exception to Steam), but why exclude a device from using an app that they aren’t monetizing?

Phones themselves are pretty solid, with a very decent line up of apps hitting the store now (sure they atore just hit 500k a few days ago). With all the anhancements that the 8.1 update brought, not to mention fortnightly updates of some of the core apps, it’s really quite nice to work with. The 920, 1020 and 8/930 are solid phones. Can’t really fault a Nokia build

The app was discontinued as far as I know, so I don’t think it’s going to be fixed. They may, however, release the Halo Channel or a new updated Waypoint app sometime next year
i dont want to see halo channel in ios and Android really. i´m just waiting for the Windows phone versión.

I like to check my stats and the app should make this much quicker to access on my android phone. I don’t like having to through the browser.

Yes. Microsoft needs to stop acting like they have the best phones on the market and start making things for the phones that people actually use.

I really wish there was a halo waypoint mobile app so that you can customize your spartan and open reqs or whatever else like the waypoint site allows you to do. if there is an app for android i can not find it.
